Took a while to get the expresso because it was busy but the coffee was made properly on a real machine and with a good blend. So the flavour was very good.
Decent coffee, however overpriced for the very small cups offered They have a nice selection of pastries but didn’t get a chance to try
Super small but super good coffee just steps from Central Park. The baristas are skilled and give you a very smooth coffee.
Birch on 7th Ave and 14th street is my fave spot to get my afternoon skinny flat white during our class break at Pratt. The crew there is always great and I love the tip jar questions. Hang in there dear Birch! Looking forward to seeing you all again when we’re through this.
Nice coffee shop with plenty of seats. Offers good range of hot and cold drinks.Service is nice and friendly. Good place to catch up with friends.
This was such a hole in the wall! A friend and I passed it on the way to Central Park, and knew we had to stop. Not much sitting space (6 seats max), but the coffee was good.
the coffee here is superb. small place. cosy. informal. just a nice place to meet up with someone, and chill for a while.
Open space in a cramped city. Great coffee where there's lots to choose from, and a great table with room for laptop and mug. But, where are the outlets for those who can sit more than a half-hour? Power us up with more than Joe. But, don't miss this place; it's great.
We were in Manhattan last week for a few days. Tried to hit a lot of different coffee shops, from Gregory's to Birch and a bunch of others. Birch was, in our view, the best coffee we had. This little shop...very little...has great service and solid barista skills. If you're looking for a place to sit down, this isn't it. There are two stools in there. But, if you just want to grab an amazing coffee and walk...this is definitely the place for you.
This is everything I want my coffee experience to be.

If you care about highest-quality espresso drinks, you will be thrilled. I had a beautiful cappuccino, with hazelnut and chocolate notes, smooth, balanced, and a very long finish. Holding up very well as it cools down, perhaps even getting better. Also very friendly folks behind the counter. Only drawback of this cute shop: Little space to sit or stand.
Neighbors suggest we try this coffee shop but it is a crowded little place with a variety of coffee strengths but it isn't like you will have a better time or cup of coffee than most others nearby.
Love this place! Must try the cold brew and chocolate hazelnut muffin!! Vegan friendly
Great coffee in a cozy environment. A must when I visit New York and have the time to get out from the office. See you next time.
I was taken by surprise to find this unassuming and friendly coffee shop. You could smell the coffee beans as you walked in. Cappuccino was delicious! They have a question of the day and two jars - one with the correct answer written on it which serve as tip jars! Good for conversation! A pleasant surprise on a chilly day...
