Birch on 7th Ave and 14th street is my fave spot to get my afternoon skinny flat white during our class break at Pratt. The crew there is always great and I love the tip jar questions.

Open space in a cramped city. Great coffee where there's lots to choose from, and a great table with room for laptop and mug. But, where are the outlets for those who can sit more than a half-hour? Power us up with more than Joe. But, don't miss this place; it's great.
We were in Manhattan last week for a few days. Tried to hit a lot of different coffee shops, from Gregory's to Birch and a bunch of others. Birch was, in our view, the best coffee we had. This little shop...very little...has great service and solid barista skills. If you're looking for a place to sit down, this isn't it. There are two stools in there. But, if you just want to grab an amazing coffee and walk...this is definitely the place for you.
