Amazing rice and beans. Maybe some of the friendliest people in the Rockaways hands down. Great to have a place that has healthy options. Especially vegetarian options.

That food doesn't work, it doesn't taste good, and it's expensive. A chicken leg, rice and a soda, 17 dollars, are dogs.

The chicken beans and rice was so delicious! Chicken was tender flavorful & perfectly cooked. Everyone who works here was so kind and attentive. Dominican food as good or better as any i’ve had in the city. Definitely come here before after or during your beach day.
Great place. Conveniently located, clean floors, clean buffet glass and tops. There are no seats but that's probably because of the virus stuff prior. Nevertheless the food is superb. I've had Dominican food in Washington heights, Roosevelt avenue in Corona, Queens and off the grand concourse in Fordham and this place is as good as any of them.I ordered a fried fish and steamed vegetables. The fish was moist inside and slightly crispy. I generally don't eat fried food but fish was on my mind so I went with it. The steamed vegetables were perfectly soft and just a wee bit solid at the core. The hot sauce is good. Not too spicey and not too tangy and not too liquidy.Ive had other dishes I just didn't take pictures of it or wrote a review. But they have very sweet, somewhat soggy and lightly crisped plantains. Their pulled pork shoulder is perfect. Baked chicken is the same. Like there's really no dish here yo can go wrong with. The counter people are pleasent. The young guy is attentive. There's no fake fast food smiles there. Even if the lines are long they're very efficient at getting you your order correctly and getting you out of there. It's never too packed and never too empty.Very reasonably priced. The Poland springs there are a dollar. Figure that out. This place rocks to be very frank.
This place has amazing food...wow I can't believe how amazing this place is and they are so nice too...the chicken and pulled pork are to die for
Great local Dominican take-out spot. We get food there a few times per month.
This spot is soo much better than their first location!
