This place is a neighborhood gem and a perfect place to start your day. Service is friendly and fast. The omelettes are loaded with fresh vegetables and are *delicious*. Bacon cooked to perfection. The people are welcoming and kind. A sign by the cash register reads, "Life is Beautiful. Enjoy it. Take care of it, value it, flow with it." This Dominican restaurant is a great place to do just that.Vegetarian options: They have loads of meatless breakfast dishes. Not explicitly labeled as vegetarian but good, whole food without meat.

Absolutely delicious. It should be noted that this is actually Buen Sabor, the Dominican place on metropolitan. Not sure why the name is different. Anyway, my husband and I get Tres Golpes breakfast from here often. they cook everything fresh and it's always delicious. The tostones were great too. I've ordered mango juice and lemonade and both seem to be made from scratch based on the taste and color. I would highly recommend if you like Latin food!

The food tastes good, but unfortunately the service is terrible, taking into account the staff who is in charge of delivering the food does so reluctantly and with a pout, they serve you as if you were asking for a gift. For that reason I do not recommend the place.

Guaranteed good meal everytime! I love coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. All of the food is fresh & authentic - you can taste the love! They are always accommodating to kids who may want one part of the meal & not the other. One of my favorites is the tres golpes (mashed plantain, fried cheese, fried salami, fried egg & pickled red onions) - it is always delicious! Don't forget to try their fresh juices & empanadas! I've ordered from here before for large empanada orders (30-60 empanadas) and they are always made fresh & hot. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, great food, great service, great prices.

Was in the neighborhood. Said Dominican food . My husband whom is Dominican got excited. Small little hole in the wall. We ordered the traditional 3 golpes. Traditional Dominican breakfast. Smashed plantain with red Ionian, fried cheese, salami and eggs however you like them. We get them over easy. Plates were big and they we're differently Hispanics, but not sure about Dominican. Anyways the food was good. My 6 year old loves grill cheese we got one she liked it. Ordered water for my daughter most places just bring a plastic cup with water and straw he brought an actual bottle of water. Not a big deal. My husband got a lemonade assuming it was homemade lol it was okay. After our food was served nobody came back to see if we were okay and we waited a long time just to get our check. That personally annoys me. And my husband went to the register to pay the lady says oh your server will come . Excuse me mam we've been waiting. It also has a different name on the awning bueno something.

The wife and I visited today for the first time in hopes of having authentic Dominican food, but were quickly disappointed. Upon arrival we noticed they have daily lunch specials which we were excited to try. We lived in the Bronx for a couple of years and are familiar with Dominican food and lunch specials which typically include a protein, rice, beans and your choice of a side. However, here their lunch specials include your choice of protein and one side; everything else is at an additional cost. We ended up spending almost $50 for two “lunch specials” and two cups of coffee. NOT A GOOD VALUE. Had the food been authentic and delicious, we wouldn’t have minded, but unfortunately this food was neither. To boot, one of the additional sides for which we paid extra, the potato salad, had an odd after taste and it was given to us in a take out container which led us to believe that it wasn’t fresh and had been sitting in their fridge for quite some time. We did not eat it. We ordered the stewed beef which was OK, but the sweet and green plantains weren’t very good…some of our tostones were raw inside and the maduros weren’t cooked to order. Our server wasn’t particularly nice, but the man at the register was pleasant. Saddened our experience wasn’t better. I’ll take a drive to the Bronx for legit Dominican food next time we’re in the mood.

Food is good but overpriced for queens. A tres golpe breakfast shouldnt cost$13 in queens.. when you can get the same in midtown Manhattan for $8-10

I recently dined at Diner, and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The retro decor added a charming touch to the place. The menu offered a wide variety of classic diner options, and I opted for their signature burger and a milkshake. The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, while the milkshake was thick and indulgent - just like a classic diner should serve. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. They were also very accommodating with dietary preferences, which is always appreciated.

We needed a quick bite for lunch. My coworker recommended this place for great quick Dominican food and boy was she right. It's a quaint little diner with a choose your own food over rice. The motherly lady behind the counter heaped generous helping of pork, beef stew over white rice. My coworker opted for the rice and beans and roast pork. We thought w wouldn't be able to finish but to our surprise our plate was clean at the end. The beef stew was flavorful and tender. The roast pork was equally delicious but I was so glad I asked for a chunk of the skin. It didn't look like it but it was crunchy and the fat melted in your mouth. It was so good!

Got takeout for lunch, service was super fast (under 5min) and very friendly! Portion is huge, I had to split it into 2 meals and very decently priced. I got the pernil with beans, very flavorful, meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender. Would defo come back for a quick lunch again!

My friend and I were looking for a coffee shop and stumbled upon this place. First thing is that the name on the restaurant is Buen Sabor, a Dominican restaurant. My expectation was a traditional coffee shop but it was a pleasant surprise that it was a restaurant that serves delicious Dominican food. The food was delicious and I was able to switch the salami for turkey bacon. The coffee was strong and delicious. The service was okay. Reason being is that my friend and I tried to split the bill however the waitress made a mistake and charged me twice. Oh well the great food made up for that mistake!

First thing to note it's called "Buen Sabor". I almost didn't find the place so they should really consider doing something about this 2 names things. Other than that though, the food was great, authentic Dominican breakfast. I had the tres golpes and it was such a good variety of flavors. Loved the pickled onions on the plantains. The coffee was strong and the service was great.
