I can't tell you how much I love this place, so it pains me that this happened. I ordered a beef chow mein, momos, and shabaleey. The chow mein was only 40% full. It was almost inedible. The beef was so overcooked, it couldn't be eaten. The noodles were so dry, and had no flavor. So I moved on to the shabaleey and momos. The beef filling for both was full of fat and lacked flavor. I was so disappointed. Because I frequent them for brunch, I'm willing to say it was an off day ...

Amazing food and the service was great and attentive! Had a cappuccino with oat milk and a breakfast plate with avocado toast and French toast to share. Very flavorful meal and the espresso was amazing.
I also really loved how they decorated the place with a variety of portraits and positive affirmations around the cafe!
Will definitely visit again next time with friends and family to try out more food options and drinks! :)

On a grooming day, I was looking on Google for a relaxing breakfast spot or good coffee around Jackson Heights, and Catmandoo caught my eye—the photos looked great, so I decided to try it.
It turned out to be a really nice surprise. I loved the vibe, the coffee was good, and the breakfast prices were very reasonable. Everything felt simple, comfortable, and welcoming.
If I end up living around this area, I can definitely see myself becoming a regular. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthy breakfast option. I haven’t tried their lunch or dinner yet, but breakfast was a great start!

We came on a weekday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to find such a warm and cozy cafe. They had good drinks, great atmosphere, and a very reasonable laptop policy. The staff were friendly and the food on other tables looked good (we only got drinks this time). We will definitely come back when we are in the area!
