Hi. The worst service the food was cold and I ordered mantis it was like pasta with noting in it and the waiter never came back to see if everything is okay. I don’t recommend this cafe. It wast of time and money.

I don't ever really write reviews, but after today's visit I wanted to share. I have been going to Cafe Turkey since they first opened, the food is very yummy, fresh, the service is amazing. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. It felt like a family not a just business. Thank you AG for making my night feeling so welcome at my local favorite restaurant in Astoria.

As a Turkish citizen we know how to taste of Turkish breakfast. First off all they served un fresh bread! I ordered menemen they cooked without eggs almost. Pide was ok but tea also was cold.But of course service was excellent. The food-wise ,its need to improve alot.

We were in Astoria and wanted to try a new place to order dinner to take home. We wanted Turkish food and found this place on line. We called to place our order and the lady who answered was so nice! She took the time to answer all our questions without sounding rushed or bothered. She made sure to help us understand what we were ordering and was so incredibly sweet to both me and my husband! We ordered 2 dinners of chicken breasts with rice and bulgar and a side of hummus with pita. We picked up our order like she said within 20 minutes. She was really the nicest person and would come back because she was so hospitable! We drove back home and couldn't wait to try our dinner. It was absolutely AMAZING!!! We loved everything we ordered and will definitely come back again! We highly recommend this place!Dietary restrictions: We explained over the phone that I can't eat anything spicy or that contains nuts. The lady promised me that she would put notes on our order to make sure nothing was spicy or contained nuts. She was right! The food was cooked perfectly, the chicken consisted of white cubes that were seasoned just right! The bulgar was beyond delicious as was the rice. And the hummus was so delicious too, along with the homemade bread. We absolutely loved our dinner and will come back again. We give this place 5 stars!!!!

Pretty shop with very nice staff. They serve Turkish classics that are hard to find in the city, like pide/cig kofte/gozleme etc. I like to sit here with a turkish coffee for a while, it's cozy.
