The food was absolutely out of this world!! The cucina special was so good I forgot about the green sauce until the end and that was fire too. Friendly staff, small business, and a cozy atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it enough

We checked into our hotel nearby and needed some food while we waited on our room to be ready. We found a hidden gem! The service is outstanding and the enchiladas were delicious!! The vibe is like a typical hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Definitely recommend!

I happened to be in the Long Island City neighborhood and was looking for a place to have dinner. While checking Google, I came across this Mexican spot called Xochimilco. I’ve actually been to this city in Mexico before, so I thought I’d give it a try. The great star ratings were well deserved—this place is very authentic.
I met Johnny, one of the staff members (possibly the owner), and he was incredibly friendly. I ordered the torta al pastor, and it was amazing. I travel a lot and visit Mexico often, and I can honestly say this is one of the best—if not the best—I’ve ever had.
I’ll definitely be back and am looking forward to trying more items on the menu. I also had a jamaica drink, which was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right.
Highly recommend!

An authentic Mexican restaurant hidden in Astoria.
Their burrito has become my go-to lunch when I’m work from home.
Brunch options are fantastic. My personal favorite is the Azteca desayuno with chorizo, and their shrimp tacos are as tasty as they look.

I stayed in the hotel nearby and came here twice during my 3 days stay with friends in NYC. Chilaquiles verdes were amazing, I highly recommend Cafe de Olla as well. The French toast was insanely delicious with lots of berries and bananas, definitely an unexpected good surprise. Plates are big enough to share. Thank you a lot for the amazing service, you made me feel home!!!
Great service and food was delicious
Walked into Cafe Xochimilco as we were in the area for an errand and were so happy we did! It’s a cozy, welcoming environment with attentive staff! The Food: was 10/10! Their Quesadilla was the star of the show (handmade tortillas) but overall will be going back!!
