I am in awe how absolutely incredible the shrimp tacos were. When I was checking out at the restaurant I got a bit of sticker shock on how expensive it was, however it was well worth it. 100% recommend. Fast service and cute neighborhood vibe.

Everything was a 10/10. The smell, look, and taste caused me to forget about photos, but all the reviews are true. Highly recommend saving room for flan.

$16 for eggs, rice and beans is highway robbery. I ordered a side of steak and it was definitely the cheapest cut. It was inedible and super hard. $21 for that meal and not worth it. Also ordered a burrito and it was all beans and some meat. Also the item I ordered was shown online to be a completely different item. Not worth the $50+ spent on breakfast.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant! We loved the tacos, chips & guac, aguas frescas and cappuccinos so much that we returned for breakfast the next morning - more aguas frescas, cappuccinos plus a beautiful French toast with fresh berries, and an Azteca Desayuno so filling that my husband couldn't finish it all. The sweet woman running things really makes you feel welcome!

Taking about a finding, was in the mood for breakfast outside home and I felt just like home at this amazing place, they serve chocolate abuelita, and my avocado toast is better than mine. Looking forward to comeback to try lunch and dinner, this place is a gem, authentic and the people are extremely nice and welcoming

Small place but cozy. Friendly staff and really good variety of food. The cheese is especially good here. I had the chilaquiles torta and it was so flavorful and a bit messy. My wife had the vegetarian quesadilla and loved it. The tortillas are made in house it seems and are a bit thicker and tastier than what I normally find.

Cafe Xochimilco is an authentic Mexican restaurant serving classic Mexican dishes. I have been here twice, both times for breakfast. First, I ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and the octopus tostadas. Both dishes were excellent. The chilaquiles were served with a green tomatillo sauce that was not too spicy. Served with eggs (I ordered them scrambled) and avocado, the dish was just like Mexican mom used to make them. The octopus tostadas were topped with jicama and onions. Those tostadas were delicious and filling. Second, I had the torta de chilaquiles (yes, I love chilaquiles) which is very popular in Mexico City. The torta is a sandwich like dish stuffed with chilaquiles, eggs, and avocado. Delicious is too weak a word to describe this very filling plate. My wife had the birria tacos. She said it has been a long time since she tried such delicious tacos. Try the cafe de olla if you like coffee and cinnamon. Great place to eat. I will return next week for lunch.
