Came for dinner. It's your typical American restaurant. Grilled food on the menu to bar as well.
The restaurant is picnic style with tables throughout. Order at one window and then wait to hear your name called. And the back end of the restaurant there is a 21 and over section with a full bar.
Very kid-friendly! The evening that I came to see what the restaurant was about. It was some neighborhood kids hanging out.
I would definitely suggest it to anyone that's looking to have a dinner and drink with friends or dinner with family.

Callie's has something for everyone. Space for the over 21 crowd and plenty of room for families with young children, as well as a menu that works for everyone. I hope they don't end the summer menu items, like the wraps now that summer is over. If they do there are always great salads to order as well as a delicious roast beef sandwich!

I went there to have dinner with my family and my order was incomplete. I was not able to sit and have my dinner together with my family. We had to wait for the rest of the food. The place was dirty, and they had a dog walking around. Too many drunks in the back area. I don’t recommend.

I recently visited the Sandwich Shop and was very pleased! The establishment has a pleasant and cozy interior, and the service was at the highest level. I ordered some sandwiches, which were very tasty and fresh. I also liked the large selection of drinks. Cashier decided to confront me for talking casually (saying yo) in a casual environment and getting a chicken sandwich with stale bread wasn't great. Used to be way better but haven't had a good experience lately, wouldn't recommend in the future.
Parking: Parking lot is crammed and I had a hard time lining my car up, but its still a parking lot on 129th so its better than nothing.
