We recently went here for a small family wedding reception. There were many dishes including Assorted appetizers platter of jelly fish, crispy pork intestine, fried fish/ribs; King crab cooked in 3 ways (fried, steamed and soup-style), Ginger scallions lobsters, lobster with snow pea leaves, steamed fish, soup, crispy chicken and Fried tofu with beef, mushrooms and snow peas. All the dishes were seasoned well. I personally like more of the assorted appetizers platter (not a fan of the crispy pork intestine because it has a very unique taste to it) and the lobster with snow pea leaves. These two dishes are differently cooked compared to my experience from other restaurants. There were some friendly servers. An unique aspect of this place is there is an inside entrance to Artisan Tea & Coffee shop right next door. So if you want specialty drinks from Artisan but don’t want to walk in the cold then this inside entrance makes it very convenient.

Recently I ordered lunch over there. It’s a lunch special. It came with soup. But they gave you a very small bowl of rice barely enough even for a kid. The quality of the food is not bad. When I was ready to pay and they told me that they didn’t take credit card for less than $20. My bill was $16.23. I asked them to charge $20 to my card. They came back with receipt and asked me for tips. I was confused. I already paid more than 23% for tip. But they said that they wouldn’t get tips from the card payment. The owner needs to train their employees and the manager better. Why argue with customer for a penny. I was hoping to bring my family there for dinner over the weekend. There are many other good Cantonese restaurants on the other side of Northern Blvd. I never experienced this kind of absurdity. It literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

I came for lunch and did not like either the food or service. Food didn’t look anything like the picture they posted. Beef was too hard to chew. $15.95 for lunch is not worth it when I had to leave without barely eating anything. The picture below was taken right before I left.

The food and service are all top-notch. The friendly atmosphere is like stepping back in time, reminding me of Guangdong and Hong Kong 20 years ago.

It tastes like China, it serves like China, it looks like China, it smells like China. The top restaurant in the US no cap. From the starter to the desert, a whole southern Chinese experience. I never been to a restaurant like this that tast exactly the same like the home country. 10/10

Sat 15 mins before awaiter approached us. Asked for 2 checks he didn’t say no. Waited 40 mins for my meal only after I questioned where it was , no apologies! . When check arrived he would not split the check. Said min for credit card was $20 our meals are $15 each lunch specials. No one had cash. TIPS means to provide To insure prompt service. That’s why you get a good tip or not. Manager chased us out of restaurant for a 10% tip and said FU. They are lucky I even left anything.

Great place for family style meal and gathering, most tables are big round table, apart from lunch specials I think this place is better to enjoy with big group so you can order more dishes and fresh seafood.
They have big fish tanks at the dining room you can see live seafood available for purchase. Their famous king crab is $40/lbs which isn’t a bad deal when you have a big group. The lobster special is daily, but you need or order at least one dish from menu in order to order one lobster, two main for two special price lobster etc. two flavors are free of charge are ginger scallion and salt & pepper. Lobster is big and juicy.
I had a lamb and beancurd skin casserole, the lamb is skin on the bone in, more like lamb legs, the dish was a bit bland I didn’t even finish, pack it home to cook more.
I had a mix BBQ with crispy pork belly and duck, it was not great, pork is very dry and there’s only a quarter duck and four of five pieces are just skin and fat, for over $20 that’s really not a good portion and quality.
The service was good, our waiters are attentive, refill water when it’s empty and change our plates when they are full of shells.

The service was excellent in the sense that the waitress was very thorough about confirming allergens. Even beyond that, the service was extremely good. The true specialty of the store seems to be fresh Chinese BBQ and fresh upscale seafood. Highly recommend it if you like either of these things.

I have eaten at many many restaurants in Flushing because I come to flushing for 3.5 yrs every month. This is the best restaurant I have had dinner at. The lobster and crab are outstanding. I will be here again and I will bring friends next time too. It’s a fantastic restaurant and the service is excellent
I ordered a custom lunch special which wasn’t on the menu which they accommodated. They also gave me a free chicken mushroom abalone soup which had a whole abalone in it. Bravo! Wasn’t expecting that. All for lunch special price.
The food here was very yummy?
