My daughter and I ordered appetizers and dinner. And it was only ok after we waited so long for it. Then I had an order to go fried chicken sandwich with jerk sauce a order of yams. Because the drinks hit so nice I didn’t check the to go order until I got home and I checked it was the fried chicken sandwich with and fries. Of course I called to see what I was charged but no one answered. The Spanish girl they’ve got working didn’t do her job well. Had to ask her to clean the table, she forgot the silverware which we waited forever for. I can cross this spot off my todo list. I wasn’t empresses.

This place is amazing! The service is wonderful and the food is very flavorful and nicely plated. The woman who served us was so sweet and pleasant as well. It's also very clean and has a great atmosphere. Everyone should try it out!!

My friend and I decided to support this establishment being that it is black owned. I made reservations and we went. The atmosphere is nice. So 20 minutes after our arrival we decided on drinks appetizers and our meal. But unfortunately even though we got the drinks right away our meal didn't come until over an hour later. This was unacceptable and I was very disappointed. There were only four people including my friend and I left in the establishment waiting for food. It was not crowded at all. Even though the food was olay, I will not return to this establishment. I wish them the best of luck in the future and hopefully they will work on their service.

Friends and I walked here based on other reviews and to avoid eating at an airport hotel for dinner. This is a very cute and slim bar with just a table or two. We sat at the bar which was super clean. Our server was delightful and attentive. We were CLEARLY out-of-towners but we never felt that way. Drinks were tasty, they have some specials, and the food was made to order and very satisfying.
It's always nice to have a spot in the "neighborhood" to enjoy and patronage. While you can't change the location you can be sure to have an inviting spot to come to. First impression makes a difference and perhaps the day I went was an off day considering the other positive posts (hence while I went). Will say I'll give them a try again because all businesses deserve a 2nd chance at making a positive first impression.

First experience after taking the A train to the Q7 and I was very excited on visiting CHEW the FAT after talking to the owner on having my birthday there. My first impression upon entering was extremely comfortable. The colors and the furniture was attractive and and the food I ate was just awesome ( Cheeseburger with everything & Fries ) I just had water so I have no experience with their mixed drinks from the Bar. The bathroom was very clean and the television is big enough to enjoy sports or videos by yourself or with fellow friends or employees.
