Great price for what you get. I don't live around this area, and was just here to get the original chicken combo; but the fried chicken (see picture) looked really good, and I think it might be worth another trip back to try! The combo came with salad and soup as well that are not pictured - all very good.

Being one who loves chicken rice, I wanted to like this place but…1) food: ordered original and chicken 2 way (mix of roast and fried). Very very generous portions (in fact way too big a cut compared to regular Khao Man Gai) but that’s about it. There’s some serious lack of seasoning in all of the chicken, with the roast one being slightly better than the other 2. The batter of the fried chicken was hard so I had to forgo the supposedly crispy skin. The soup tasted like nothing. The rice was somewhat fragrant but the texture was inconsistent (ie both portions had some hard rice). The nice part is that a salad also comes with the big meal. The Thai Iced Tea was normal.2) utensils: complete use of single used plates and utensils and everything - see pic. While I truly understand that there’s labor concerns around dish washing, too much plastic/single use items is just a no-no.3) THE PRICE YOU SEE IS CASH PRICE AND THEY CHARGE YOU EXTRA 4% when you pay by card, WITHOUT TELLING YOU!! I get that many stores provide incentives for paying by cash, but this is just outright dishonest and for that (and the below subpar food), I’m never coming back again.Honestly there are a lot more other good khao man gai all over NYC.

Cute little shop with really tasty food. I got the fried chicken cutlet and it's so crunchy and flavorful. The store only has 3 tables, so I'd probably get it to go or come with only one other person.
Absolutely delicious, affordable and great portions for the price and the Astoria location. The meals all come with soup and salad, too. My takeout order came out swiftly and packed very nicely. Just bring cash if you want to save a bit. Will be coming back.

For $14, got vegetable soup, egg noodles in a satay like sauce, fish balls, braised Hainan chicken, vegetable salad, and Thai iced tea. You get extreme value and phenomenal food! Ordered online for pickup and food ready in less than 10 minutes. Staff is super friendly. Huge portions. Had to save half for later. They have a few tables, but do mostly takeout and delivery. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most items dairy free

Ordered from here a few months back and it was great. Had it yesterday and now I’m suffering with food poisoning. Such a bummer.

Love this place! Was so pleasantly surprised to find this in Astoria. I've been craving this dish instead of the usual Thai restaurant entrees and this just feels so cozy.

Their Khao Man Gai is out of this wold! The young man that works there is a lovely lad who has both passion and skill. I recommend this place for both lunch and dinner and hope to go back to try the noodle bowl. Thank you so much you made my night!
