Portions were great and the service was quick, and the food was tasty, but I have what I previously considered a lower-end-of-medium spice tolerance and the *mild* was way, way too spicy for me. Know your spice tolerance, then round down. Also the “Texas toast” was just a slice of regular toasted white sandwich bread.
This place is great the food is delicious. I’m only giving it 3 stars because they removed the best item from the menu, which was the chicken rice. Spice levels were great, very flavorful. It’s a shame.

I’ve ordered from here a few times within the last couple of years, so you could say I’m a loyal customer. Restaurant could use some work from the inside for customers who like to dine in. It doesn’t seem like they give particular attention to the customer experience but it is fast food like Dave’s so that is to be expected. The spice levels are not on par with Sam’s Hot Chicken in Hillside...
