The food and service was amazing. Just make sure you’re up to date on the prices, as the prices on pictures aren’t consistent.

Food is always delicious but unfortuantely the service is horrible. Paid $43 cash on a $32.65 order. The lady working hands me back my cents and i ask her where the rest of the change is. She hands me $6. When i ask where the rest is she tells me i only gave her $40 and the change and she hestitantly gives me the rest. Either its a stupid way to get a tip or they weren't able to deduct 34 from 43 and shouldnt be at the register. Go for the delicious food if you can put up with the horrible customer service.

Complaint about Bad Customer Service

Dear Owners or Managers of Chicken Festival (196-17 Northern Blvd),

I am writing to you as a frequent customer of your restaurant to express my great dissatisfaction with the service received from one of your employees. On several occasions, I have noticed that this person serves customers with a rude and unprofessional attitude, as if the fact that he has to work was the fault of those of us who visit his establishment.

I firmly believe that a restaurant should offer not only good food, but also friendly and respectful treatment. These days, every penny we spend counts, and it's frustrating to receive such poor service when you choose to support a local business. I'm not the only person who has noticed this problem; I have spoken with neighbors and acquaintances in the community who share the same opinion.

I'm not asking you to fire this person, but I am asking you to take steps to improve your attitude and treatment of customers. As owner(s), it is important that you pay attention to who is representing your business, as customer service is key to the success of any restaurant.

Unfortunately, due to this experience, I have decided not to return to your establishment and share my experience with my family and acquaintances. I will prefer to look for another place where my money is well received and where the service is consistent with the quality one expects.

I hope you take this complaint seriously and make the necessary adjustments to improve service in your restaurant.

Prices are way too high for mediocre food. The only decent thing was the sauce, but they refused to sell me extra, claiming they only make a small amount with a two-sauce limit per order. Plenty of better places for chicken and rice—this was my last visit!

Not sure what happened but the price sky rocketed. I remember paying like $12 for a quarter chicken with rice and beans at this place and they wanted $21 today for the same thing with a can of coke 😭 I canceled.

I love Peruvian chicken.... Unfortunately, the whole chicken rotisserie was very very salty. The green sauce was awesome, yuca fries were delish. Lomo saltado was ok, but the beef was a bit on the chewy side. Tostones was ok too, but a bit too thick and to dry for my tastes. Price was pretty expensive for lunch for these items. Not sure I would go again.
