Ordered the Black Pepper Beef and Pan Fried Dumplings for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The food is tasty and the soup was perfect for this fall (windy) weather. You can’t go wrong with ordering from Chu, you won’t be disappointed.

Finally!!! A great chinese food in sunnyside! The food is great, the service is great. I ordered the shrimp Lo mein and it is the best! The dumplings were even better and I’m not a dumpling person. So look no further go to Chu and enjoy!

REAL CHINESE FOOD!!!!!!! Lord speak! Mapo Tofu is the best I’ve had in Queens - comparable to the $30-40 versions I’ve had in Manhattan. Place is clean as a whistle too.

Wow. Let me say this, high quality food for a very reasonable price. The young woman working the register was so friendly and nice! I ordered the chicken lo mein and it was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender, the rest of the dish well seasoned and perfectly cooked!! Next time I'm in this area, I will stop by and order something new. Very very yummy- make sure to tip ;)

Do yourself a favor and order from here. Ordered delivery from here recently. I was so impressed! This place elevates the Chinese food in Sunnyside. The chicken lo mein was tasty and not oily. We also got the rib nibblers which were nice and caramelized, along with the sweet and sour pork. The pork was not frozen and breaded as some other places offer, but was sliced and lightly breaded, but still super crunchy.

Delicious fresh food! So tasty and they are super friendly. Love getting take out for dinner but also enjoy their lunch specials while working from home. The spring rolls are my absolute favorite :)

Clean, bright, fast service. Its great that the kitchen is open and you can see them make your food. Food came out quickly, hot and delicious.

My husband and I wanted Chinese, but not the typical takeout options. We stumbled on this place, saw the reviews, and gave it a try! We loved it! It surprised us with how thought out the dish was and how well everything was cooked. My husband is Chinese, so he's a harsh critic! He approved of this place and we will definitely order from here again. He got the sweet and sour pork and I got the black pepper beef. A great eating experience for us!

Refreshing new take on an old favourite (take out Chinese food!). The menu is paired back ensuring consistent high quality of all the items. There's a good choice of meal sets that include appetizer, main and desert. Very pleased with my first takeout and will return

Love to have a new Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood! Good food at an affordable price and nice people :) We got Mapo tofu and Kung Pao chicken and they came with mung bean soup! What a nice and summery after dinner dessert!

The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the phone/counter person very friendly. The menu has just enough items for everyone to find something they like. The prices are not bad either. The best way to describe the food is to start with your regular Chinese take-out place. Then remove 50% of the grease/oil/unnecessary sauces. Then improve the quality and freshness of the ingredients. And there you go -- elevated basic Chinese takeout with a few twists on the menu too. The salt and pepper chicken in particular was awesome -- fried bites of thigh meat chicken in a light batter covered in fried garlic chips and chilis. You can eat as much or as little of the garlic/chilis as you want (the chicken on it's own was just mildly spicy and seasoned nicely anyway).I really hope they do well, and I hope they continue to add/rotate those speciality dishes.

Fifteen years in NYC, this is one of the best Chinese spots I've found. Highly recommend "Salt and Pepper chicken" - a spicy, fried, crunchy, juicy chicken (similar to Chonqing/Laziji/Sichuan spicy style, but with large-piece chicken). Everything feels fresh, nothing seems frozen. Sides are delicious (green beans especially). And it's remarkably affordable compared to other places in neighborhood. So happy this place opened up, I go at least once a week!

A great new addition to the neighborhood!I really liked the tofu and chicken dishes. The lo meng and ribs were good as well. The only thing that I did not like is all the plastic packaging for to-go orders. Since this is a to-go place, they should think more about responsible packaging.

Not your traditional Chinese takeout. I got the prawns with vegetables. It came with two little spring egg rolls & soup. Really good and tasty. A bit more expensive than the Golden Wok.
