Wow! Sometimes you just have to give places a chance regardless of the reviews. I decided to stop in this afternoon for some lunch with a friend and this place is definitely underestimated.I got the curry goat, rice and peas and salad and it was delicious. Goat was tender, rice was soft and nice and the salad was yummy. Only downfall was the plantain was burnt like real bad, and a nice steamed cabbage would've been delicious instead of the salad. My friend got the BBQ chicken with Rasta pasta, and he stated the chicken was "banging" ! The cashier was friendly and helpful, patient also. The ambiance of the restaurant is small, and i was reading the walls and they offer 50% off after 8pm since they close at 9pm, or they offer buy 1, get 1 meals after 8pm. I love that promotion, goes to show you that they're not trying to reuse the food for the next day, nor waste the food. If you're ever in the area, check this place out! I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Food is decent but the place is never open when I go there even though hours say it's open on Google. This needs to be fixed, annoying to see it's "open" online but doors are locked when I get there. Wouldn't you be annoyed too?

I stopped by a while back after work to try the food and it was incredible! I switched jobs so I couldn’t come back, but I was in the area so I had to go there. I got the same thing again and it tasted just as good as the first time. They workers are all so nice as well!

Their food is amazing and affordable!! When I first visited, the lady in the front was so nice, I ended up coming back the same day during dinner because I wanted to try something else. I got stewed chicken with white rice for $7, as you can see my container was packed! Their baked chicken is amazing as well. Definitely a new fave spot for me!
The food was absolutely amazing!!! Definitely going back and would go everyday if it was acceptable. Even just to go have a conversation with the genuine and very nice staff they have. Malik was excellent! Thank

I ordered a small spicy rusta pasta and barbecue chicken and a barbecue chicken with mac and cheese and white rice. The Barbecue chicken in each meal was very hard and unchewable. I spent 30 dollars for nothing. I called the Location on Rockaway boulevard right away upon tasting the food and all I was told was they may have baked the chicken too long and she was sorry about that. I will not do business with this company again. They get 2 thumbs down on the qualityof the food. I do not recommend this location unless they let you taste the food before you buy it
