I came here yesterday with my girl friend and we had an amazing time! The food was nothing but tasteful. The service was amazing! Our waitress Dianna recommended us the beat drinks and entrees on the menu. She was extremely attentive. The environment is sexy yet elegant. Overall, I will definitely be coming back!

Food was excellent but they were short on items because of the holiday weekend. No pasteles, bacalaitos, Habana chicken, or Cuban sandwiches. The food we ordered was fresh and delicious. Love that they have a real vegan option which was delicious! Flan was the best desert option, and it is made in house.

This is a modern, fresh take on Latin cuisine in Whitestone, Queens. It has an attractive bar with seating, well stocked and with an innovative mixologist (see some of the photos!) The margaritas and mojitos were very good, and the specialty cocktails (Santeria and Purple Rain) were as refreshing as they were beautiful. Our server Alma was an absolute delight and helped us get a good cross-section of their offerings. We started with bacalaitos en el aire (codfish fritters - awesome!) and, interestingly, Asian chicken dumplings (delicious but very small portion).Our mains consisted of Habana chicken (marinated half chicken with rice, beans and maduros) and Peruvian Lomo Saltado (steak sauteed with onions, peppers and Latin spices served with rice and fries). Both dishes were tender, juicy with loads of exotic flavor. We finished with the passion fruit cheese cake, which is a nice change from the standard dessert offerings around town. We had a great time there, and are looking forward to going back again soon.

My husband described his Salmon as “very good, delicious”! Ms. Alma substituted the asparagus that is normally served with the salmon with garden salad. My Habana Chicken has a nice presentation, especially the maduro on top of the rice and the corn salsa drizzled on the chicken; however, my chicken was not juicy and not tender. It was tough to cut. I also enjoyed the mango salsa that was served with my husband’s Salmon.
I rate its ambience at 5 although I wish the music is not as loud.

Food is good but they tend to take long to make the food,after waiting for calamari shrimp appetizer for about almost an hour they said they didn’t have anymore because everyone that was in the restaurant order same thing I believe that is part of your happy hour menu and is a restaurant have plenty in stock specially on a Saturday.
