Coming in, I had really high hopes for an authentic Guangxi experience. Sadly, my hopes were left unsatisfied. But it’s a start I suppose.

Food was great. But make sure to order non spicy if you normally do mild or medium. Their mild tasted like hot to me… affordable price with limited seating. But the rice noodles were amazing. Had to take one star off because of the extreme heat. I was sweating by simply sitting there and eating the noodles :(

When I went to Diwang Mall before, I always went to Rice Roll King. But since I discovered my cousin’s snail noodles, I eat snail noodles every time I fly to New York, and take-out rice rolls.

?Liuzhou Snail Rice Noodles $10.99
Ingredients: yuba, fungus shreds, pickled bamboo shoots, green vegetables, pickled beans, peanuts. There are many others that can be added.
Mild spiciness is enough, don't try medium spiciness or above. The soup is rich and flavourful, and the powder has the soft and glutinous texture that I like.

The noodle was chewy which I thought was authentic. The soup was pretty rich in flavor with decent amount of toppings. Overall, this was on par with my experience eating luosifen back in China. My only complaint was the lack of seats which were super uncomfortable. If you live close by, I’d recommend order to-go (and lucky you).

Honestly the soup base is not as rich say favorite one from Li Ziqi. But this is onsite and they have fried egg, pork feet and chicken hands!!! Worth the super authentic feeling experience!
