I recently visited Crab Shack Seafood Boil in Ridgewood, NY, and it was an outstanding experience! The spacious and clean environment immediately caught my attention and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The friendly hostesses and waitresses added to the welcoming atmosphere with their warm smiles and attentive service.
The highlight of my visit was definitely the Dungeness crab boil. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it to any seafood lover. I will definitely be coming back for more!

I have ordered several times from here and it’s hit or miss. But when it’s bad, it’s really bad. I’ve spoken to them about it and showed them the 1st picture. They gave me extra legs the following time, which were ok. But it keeps happening. How can you justify selling snow crab legs that look this horrible?! And taste even worse! It went straight into the garbage! The legs should crack, not bend. That’s how you know they’re semi-fresh. These had no crack left in them! Ugh! The photos are from separate occasions. The 2nd photo is just from today! I even reminded them on the phone to please make sure they were fresh when I placed the order. I will never, ever go back!

For $90 it wasn’t really worth it. I ordered seafood boil with hot spicy sauce and the sauce wasn’t even a bit spicy. The seafood was mild. The oysters were good and so were the shrimp but the taste of everything in total was like meh, I’d give the taste 6/10 and the actual food a 8/10

I used to like this place when they 1st opened, but it had become BAD my food was raw I ordered chicken fingers for my son I got 4 chunks of meat with fries instead and 2 fish baskets the fish was raw I had to re-cook it in the air fryer, plates are smaller than before I’m not ordering here again I paid for a cook meal so I WONT cook but I ended up doing it anyways and taste like old fry oil

We always order to go. The house boil sauce is super flavorful and garlicky. We normally get shrimp and clams which is delicious but I'd like to try the king crab legs next time. We've never eaten in bc we live so close and prefer to get messy at home ?

Came here at 1:30 on a weekend and it was pretty empty. The service was quick and we only had to wait maybe 15 min after ordering for our food. The portion sizes are very large for the boils, and the flavor/quality was good for the price. I don't know anywhere else that includes a whole lobster in their house boil. I'd like some heavier seasoning across the board and will get it spicier next time, but I will come here again.

I ordered the raw oysters, the lobster roll basket & a Paloma for a drink. The oysters came out almost right away and were delicious. The drinks were also served right away. The lobster rolls took a little bit of time to come out but over all everyone at the restaurant was very polite. The lobster roll was tasty but, to make it a 10/10 I’d say there needed to be some butter on the roll itself. I totally ate the oysters before taking a pic that’s why they look like that.
First impressions are everything! The food is great! Seafood done the right way . The staff was friendly and attentive to your needs . Very pleasant vibe in the house. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Workers should be more informative of menu , size and quality. Honestly got stuck with something I wasn’t sure I wanted due to the lack of knowledge and customer service. Emily wasn’t knowledgeable and quick to just get my order and then get back on her phone and eat her ice cream. I truly didn’t want the back and forth. When I asked for a manager she denied me to speak to her. Yall should look at the cameras at around 6pm Also she put my order thru while answering questions. She’s truly just not there for customer service.

This was the worst seafood we’ve ever had. The sauce didn’t have much flavor, Mac and cheese tasted like water, the garlic bread was the best reminded me of Texas toast I suggest they get some experienced people in the kitchen to help with their flavor
