I have been waiting to check this place out for a long time. The wait is finally over. Closed on Wednesdays I went on a Thursday, early afternoon, and suprising the line wasn't long at all. My wait was about 5 minutes. It is a take out only spot. There isn't anywhere to sit inside. The service was good, and quick. I really wanted to taste this oxtail curry pizza I have been hearing so much about. It wasn't the best slice I ever tasted, but it was a good quality slice. A bit pricey at $13.06 including tax, and the price can vary day to day. I do plan on going back to try their Shrimp & Lobster Black Truffle Afredo Slice. Their specialty pizzas do look very appealing.

After heating up the cold pizza I realized there's a bit of cheese on it. Overall. Didn't enjoy the taste. Extremely heavy. Didn't sit in my stomach well. crust is so stiff and dry.

The food was great I tried an oxtail slice and a chop cheese slice. I will definitely stop by again when visiting.

I wanted to highlight a new fave in Queens (for me) Cuts & Slices. This wildly popular #blackowned #pizza shop opened up in Brooklyn originally and expanded a year ago to Queens. This excited me because I knew I wouldn't have to travel far to try their famous oxtail or jerk chicken slice. As months passed I kept an eye on IGs discussion of the length of the line to get in and get a slice and it was consistently an hour or so wait. One of the coldest days here in NYC, my friend Bon texted that she would be hitting up the Cuts&Slices Brooklyn location so I figured I'd hit up the one in Queens because no one would be out in the cold trying to get pizza. I was wrong and there was a line but not too crazy (the max I waited was 10 minutes). I'm not lying when I say when you walk in you are greeted like family. The young man taking orders was so joyful and making banter with all of us along with helping any newbies with figuring out the menu. . I ordered the jerk chicken black truffle alfredo slice ($11.96), the brown stew oxtail slice ($11.44), and curry chicken pin wheel ($6). . Everyone is going to ask me if I liked it. The answer is YES. I'm always down to support a local black business over everything and pizza is absolutely my love language. As for what I would go back for... it would be the jerk chicken. I actually loved that slice. It was spicy, lots of chicken, the dough was perfect. Win win! The oxtail slice I may pass on because there ware some chewy parts I had to get rid of but the amount of oxtail given was shocking. The pinwheel we inhaled. Give me anything with curry and I'mma eat it. . So yes, I enjoyed it, yes it's worth the hype, it is a bit expensive but worth it for me, my budget and my household. . Let me know if you've been to Cuts&Slices or plan on going.

Thank you for coming to Queens! I've been hearing about Cuts & Slices for a while, but I refused to drive to BK for it. Well, now it's right in my area. Stopped by one afternoon earlier this week for the 1st time. Small spot, no tables, all take out ( tables or at least a counter would help). Greeted warmly by staff. Only 1 or 2 other people ahead of us. We were walked through the pies available, which was very helpful. We selected the brown stew oxtail slice, Hawaiian slice, and an oxtail pinwheel. I was kind of expecting the oxtail slice to be soggy, but it wasn't...at all. It was SOOO good! I will definitely get that again. My sister had the Hawaiian and she liked it. Said the pepperoni was just so-so, but other than that, she enjoyed it. I can't comment on the pinwheel yet. I was so full from the pizza slice that I had to save it :-) I will go again

The vegan spicy chicken was recommended by someone there, and it turned out to be pretty good. I'm glad that we had connected the first time so he was able to help me get more when I came back. There was another person there the second time, and she was super friendly, but she didn't know there was any left so I could have ended up leaving when I went back if I didn't come back for that guy. The workers all seemed friendly and happy. It was great customer service.I had tried vegan veggie and vegan cheese before. I also tried vegan pepperoni but I definitely liked the vegan spicy chicken better. I had 4 slices of it. I wish the vegan specialty (around $7) were priced the same as the vegan cheese (around $5) when they don't have any of the vegan cheese. This is the kind of neighborhood where myself and others would benefit more from lower pricing if it could be done without reducing staff/staff hourly rate. It's good to have another black owned business in St. Albans with vegan options. Definitely more of that needed in this area for those who are going more plant based. It would be good if they could add vegan dessert options.

Great business idea and wish them all the success in the world. I am only referring to the Queens, NY location. For my family and I the one time experience was enough. We tried every slice and after that, the thrill was gone. Some of the slices were just not that hittin as we were expecting. Some were too greasy, which caused the crust to soften. Some were kind of dry and lacked flavor cause they had no sauce or very little. The pizza is an acquired taste that I personally would not eat on a regular. This is just my opinion, nothing personal. All the best.

It's definitely worth the drive. So my coworker and I took the drive from Jersey to Queens. No long wait. The variety of slices that they have makes me want to get one of each ? The quality is good. The sweet chili oxtail slice wasn't all that. Everything else was amazing ? especially the curry ?? I will definitely return to try other flavors, I would like to try at least one of each?

Listen. I kept seeing this all over social media and said it’s probably not even that serious. You see, I’m a pizza head, and I’m a foodie. I appreciate good QUALITY food. What I did not expect from here was to actually experience quality and for the pizza to be THAT AMAZING!!!!CUSTOMER SERVICE:Honestly walking into the store, I thought everyone would have an attitude. I’m sorry I prejudged lol, I went to the Queens location and was immediately greeted the minute I walked in. Everyone had a light energy and was friendly. I watched the staff exhibit patience as others took forever to decide which slice they wanted. None of the staff showed any irritation or impatience. I was surprised. They all made me feel welcomed and appreciated for coming in. It’s like they make you feel like family. I appreciated that about them.THE DECEPTION:First off everything was looking dry from the glass window, but I decided to stay and give it a try anyway. Lol. You know how you warm up a pizza that was made a while ago and it ends up being mad hard and crunchy and don’t even taste the same as it would’ve if it was fresh? Yea well that’s what I thought would happen lol but it didn’t!!PHOTO PIC:I had the curry oxtail and the jerk chicken Alfredo.THE TOPPINGS:First off they are NOT SKIMPY ON THE TOPPINGS! after $12 a slice it better not be skimpy! It was full , especially on the oxtail slice. I even bit down on a tiny bone which is alright because it lets me know they actually shredded this meat off the bone. I can’t imagine the labor put into this pizza. And the oxtail WAS NOT chewy!!!!! So that’s how you know they took their time to cook it well!THE CHEESE:The QUALITY of this pizza, is AMAZING! I can tell they didn’t use cheap mozzarella. It honestly tasted like buffalo mozzarella! I loveee that! It was fresh and still have a nice cheese stretch, especially in my jerk chicken Alfredo slice.THE DOUGH:I’ve made pizza at home before using 00 pizza flour dough. I like that dough because it’s light, it doesn’t make you feel bloated although I think it still contains gluten. But their pizza reminded me of that 00 flour. I’m a thin crust girl and when I saw the crust was fluffy I thought it would be hard and obnoxious, but it wasn’t !!! It was so fluffy and light! Still had a little crunch to it but nothing obnoxious. Man I was still hungry. It literally made me want to go back for more. But that price ! ?PRICE:Is the oxtail and Jerk chicken Alfredo slice worth the price? I think they could’ve charged maybe $8-$9/ a slice as opposed to $12/slice! It’s extremely expensive. Def not something you can spend on a regular basis. People legit gotta save up to purchase pizza here ?. But for the experience I tried it.Overall Great job. I enjoyed it!Vegetarian options: Vegan options - vegan pepperoni and vegan oxtail slices
