The food was okay nothing special. Very expensive for average food. He was trying to push us to get Borsec. The bread was old and the price for papanași can’t believe it. Not going back.

Food tastes good, but it is not like special in any way. Grilled meat is tender. The tripe soup is pretty interesting because it is a little bit sour from the sour cream I think. It is also very cheap for such a decent size portion. Grilled cheese is like cheese stick. It was a very heavy lunch that kept me full for the rest of the day.

Feels just like home 🇷🇴

I had an amazing lunch experience at Danubius Restaurant—it truly felt like being back in Romania. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from back in the day.

The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find a place in NYC that captures the warmth and hospitality of Romania...
