How does this place pass food quality inspection? This place is dirty. The food is cold. The customers were flossing their teeth while people were eating. Just awful place.

We ordered some naan and butter chicken, we were waiting for the food.
we had some chicken momos with us we just bought from outside.
The Server girl told us “No outside food allowed, if you eat them here we shall cancel your order”
Took us a while to process what just happened. first time ever in a restaurant we were served with a threat instead of food.
They even put up a sign that says
“Tea and samosa are only served to go, due to low occupancy”
Even though they put so many tables close to each other , clearly to host more guests than usual.
Naan roti was a little burned , but edible.
But the sour faced threat from the server lady and the hostile signs were definitely not a warm atmosphere for dinners.
Not recommended if you are looking for a good dinning experience.
Advise to management:
Treat your guests with respect. They pay for the service.
Only confront those who abuse your hospitality.

They have so many different types of food in their menu. I like their Kima Nan, Haleem, Chicken Bihari Kabab, Dahi Vada and many more.

Restaurantji Recommends
****
My visit to Dera Restaurant was quite disappointing. The food quality has noticeably declined, lacking the flavor and freshness it used to have. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable, with an unpleasant crowd. During my visit, I even witnessed a fight break out involving cutlery, which made the experience feel unsafe. Unfortunately, this isn't the place it used to be, and I can't recommend dining here, especially at night.

Poor experience overall. We brought the family and received poor service. The food didn’t have taste and was really oily.
The staff was not attentive and we ending up not ordering more because we couldn’t get their attention.
Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Two of our group feel unwell after eating here yesterday. One of us has been up all night with vomiting and diahorrea! They’re still vomiting almost a day later. We should’ve ran when we saw a food hygiene rating of ‘C’. The food had clearly been reheated several times before it reached us. Not very tasty either. Do not recommend! Watch out for food poisoning.

Food is ok, nihari doesn't taste like nihari , chicken makhni was ok. The only thing I enjoyed was the hot naans. You have to pay 15% of service charges if you are dining in, and if you are paying by credit card they add another 8%.
