Great service, engaging staff, and the food was good, there was a change of the staff recently, I think they got it just right with their current cook.
I recommend the Bake and salt fish, Corn soup, and curry dinner plates.

Use to be decent. However, I had quite possibly the worst curry chicken ever this last week. The chicken looked white with barely any curry in it and tasted super bland. My friend asked me "is that suppose to be curry?" Dont know if they changed the cooks or just a bad day. I mainly come here because it is closeby. Will definitely be giving this place a rest. I wish I took a picture of the food.

The best Trinidad and Tobago cuisine ever
Grill master Gino is on point with the barbecue
Consistently amazing food, I go there all the time, my favorite Trinidadian place in Queens. Most people get takeout but I like to eat there at the counter. I’m pescatarian and they have so many options for me to eat. All the good veggies like ochro (okra), bodi (curried string beans), pumpkin, chana (chickpeas), which you can get wrapped in delicious dhalpuri (fresh griddled flatbread with lentils), as well as several other kinds of bread. I also love their kingfish curry (in a dhalpuri), their bake and shark (actual fried shark—don’t worry, not one of the endangered kinds—in a fresh fried bread with lettuce, pineapple and some sauces), and of course doubles. They do great catering for a party too!
Vegetarian options: All the good veggies like ochro (okra), bodi (curried string beans), pumpkin, chana (chickpeas), which you can get wrapped in delicious dhalpuri (fresh griddled flatbread with lentils), as well as several other kinds of bread. Also doubles, aloo pie, egg ball, tons and tons of options, including for vegans.

The bake and shark from this spot was so delicious! It tops any fish sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner even brought it out to my car. Will be back for sure!

I just learned to eat the doubles and I love it!! Trinitarian and Caribbean food is good.Excellent treatment and customer service at this place...I'm considered myself as a regular client now. If you are a newbie in trinitarian food you have to ask for the double with chicken and with everything to try a real taste from this trinitarian dish. Delicious !
