Normally my go to Peruvian spot was Pio Pio on Woodhaven blvd which appears to have closed. I was craving Peruvian one night walking home from work and saw this place not far off the fresh pond M train. That was about a month ago and I’ve had it about 5 times since. I sometimes just go in to get some green sauce to throw on some leftovers and enhance any meal. Whenever I bring it into work everyone says how good it smells and asks where it’s from. If only they knew how good it tasted too which is why I took the time to write out this review. I must’ve passed the restaurant 100 times not knowing how good the cuisine is. Conveniently located in Ridgewood and with ample room to eat inside, this spot has become my new favorite Peruvian spot replacing Pio Pio by a landslide.

The baddest Peruvian restaurant in New York, the green ceviche, the lomo saltado should be called nerve saltado, without flavor or the corresponding ingredients, they don't add cilantro, vinegar, tomato, soy sauce, which are basic ingredients, but they put it on top chives, to a Lomo saltado? Disgusting food, they started very well, we went weekly, now never again!!! 🤮 🤮

Would truly recommend, some people just maybe got a bit unlucky, because when I went with my family to dine in this restaurant, I was mind blown. Amazing decor and music, a variety of choices, including Arroz Chaufa, Ceviche, and some other sides, including French Fries, so this place is also a bit kid-friendly because they have foods that kids like, white rice, etc. Staff is extraordinary, as they served us greatly, and wasn’t mean at all! Please give this place a try, or your closest one, trust me. You won’t regret it.

Ordered for pickup and received the wrong food. The staff blamed me for the mix-up, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, the food wasn’t good either. Extremely disappointed with the entire experience—won’t be returning.

Don’t order delivery or to go. They are the worst. They made three mistakes in my order and the server wasn’t polite at all to admit her error.
