The restaurant Dun Huang has serious food safety violations- I believe they use stale beef/lymphatic meat/and expired overnight meat because the taste is like synthetic made beef and after consuming their beef noodle dish, I suffered from acute food poisoning the same day. This practice breaches food safety regulations and poses a serious health risk to consumers. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment and this resaurant due to its unacceptable hygiene standards. Terrible!
This restaurant called Dun Huang has serious food safety issues. I feel that they use stale beef/lymph meat/as well as expired overnight meat. After eating their beef noodles, I developed symptoms of acute food poisoning on the same day. . This behavior not only violates U.S. food safety regulations, but also seriously endangers consumer health. Strongly recommend everyone to avoid this restaurant, the food hygiene is worrisome.

Terrible service! This area has plenty of better options. Food and service are much better at Sapps across the street. The waitress had the audacity to ask why I didn't tip her. I had no problem explaining to her in detail why her service sucked. Never again.

My favorite sport ones a week… lunch time!
There was chopped green onion in the water glass, but the waiter insisted it was lemon. The contemporary version of calling a deer a horse was staged here. The sanitary condition is worrisome. I feel disgusted because I have eaten here.

Went for the first time and ordered beef noodle soup which we eat all the time from various restaurants and cafes all over the world. Theirs is really tasty, fresh veggies and they give a lot of noodles unlike other places. Quantity is great, price is lower than other places and it's also a little spicy but you can tell they use a lot of msg. I love a little sprinkle of msg in all my Chinese and Italian food dishes but I think for this particular dish - beef noodle soup and in LIC - Yumpling is the best/most authentic in terms of their soup flavor/preparation and Ros Niyom surprisingly comes in second for me.
Super fast service and good prices though. Definitely a solid contender and I look forward to trying their other dishes 🥰

Oil spill noodles are good, kung pao chicken is overly sweet and overly soft. Thought it was tofu at first
the real ones know this is the place for noodles.

Ordered the lunch special, Mapo tofu with rice, a water, and an egg. Very delicious and the restaurant looks clean and has a bathroom. Very clean and semi-spacious interior.

Ordered the wood ear salad and chili oil noodles for takeout. The wood ear salad was okay, but the bok choy in the chili oil noodles tasted like it hadn’t been washed - kind of pesticides like taste for some reason. The noodles had good texture but had no chili flavor, just garlic. Some of their other noodle dishes seem better but the chili oil noodles I hoped would taste more authentic.
really disappointing food 😵💫 service was good

I just finished eating at this establishment. The food we ordered was spicy to the extreme that it is hurting my stomach. I’ve eaten at the other locations including upper west, midtown, Jersey city and even Edison, and all locations were a very lovely experience with very friendly workers and did not experience any issue with the spiciness of the food. This time, at LIC location, the communication is poor - There was no verbal warning at all regarding the spiciness of the item (Malatang) since the level of spiciness is not accurate for this relatively new item. The next issue is after addressing this issue with the waitress, her reply was just silence and a bill in her hand to give to us. There was no apology at all. Hope this issue of lack of communication can get better.

I really wonder how they made the noodle. The last time I went there, I thought the noodle was too hard, not soft enough for me. So this time, I told the waitress that I wanted the cook to cook a bit longer so that the noodle will be softer. She suggested me to order the wide instead of extra wide. So I did. But she clearly didn’t deliver my message. The noodle was not only hard, but they literally DELIVERED THE NOODLE ONLY AFTER 1-2 minutes. Like what the hell??? Of course she didn’t tell the cook to cook it longer. The vegetable I added was clearly not cooked long enough too. It was very hard and very hard to chew as well.
I was unhappy, so I only gave like 8.8% tip or something even tho I’m paying 18% tip in other places. But the waiter was like, oh 10% was the minimum tip. Bro, what do you mean it’s MINIMUM?? I pay tip for BEING GOOD AT SERVICE. Not totally ignoring my request and still want me to pay tip for the service that didn’t exist. Like what the heck?
They are not even trying. That’s all I can say.
