I generally come to this location for the coffee and tres leches cakes. However their service is horrible, as there is such a language barrier. They also listed egg and cheese on a roll and listed the price as $6 + tax however when ringing up the check it came out to $7.03 which does not calculate correctly.I would check your order price to make sure they aren't pushing an error or price gouging. I didn't care much for the $0.47 and gave it to the tip jar. It's just the principle of the matter.Generally this location has wonderful Columbian coffee.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that should be accessible to wheelchairs.

The customer service was incredibly poor and ignorant with a touch of racism mixed in.....smile for everyone who comes to your establishment to spend money, being polite cost you nothing and increases your revenue you've lost a new potential long term customer because your staff members are impolite and prejudice towards darker skinned people this is new york we are all mixed into one if you don't like seeing us stay home

My sister supports this businesses daily and yesterday she stopped by and grabbed me a bread (pan de bono). The bread was so extremely hard and old, I asked my sister to please go back and change it. The owners refused to change the bread, stating that once the bread leaves the premises, it can no longer be changed. I walked in, upset, and asked why can’t we be offered another bread? Especially since they receive business from my sister DAILY. The point of this review is that the business failed to accommodate a loyal customer and instead said “those breads are usually hard”. No, they’re hard when they are old and have been sitting most of the day. I wouldn’t support this business again even if it was the last business open in the area. If you want rocks for bread, this is your place!

Flauta was stale. No AC. Service is excellent. Safe place for women. Empanadas were excellent as well as top tier coffee.

When I walked in, I couldn't be more surprised at how clean the place is. When you see a place this clean, you know they take pride in their food and preparation. Everything was amazing.

Ordered my birthday cake and the baker was so nice and took time to answer all of my questions. It was the first time trying this bakery. I wanted a pineapple flavored filling. I don't like big chucks of pineapple so the baker understood and made a very nice filling with very small pieces of pineapple which was exactly how I wanted it. The cake wasn't overly sweet and perfect but very filling as the ingredients are rich. The icening was a light whipped consistency. It was the most beautiful cake that I've ever had. See my pictures attached although i dont think the pictures did it justice. Myself, my family and friends really enjoyed it. The baker also accurately informed me of how many people the cake could serve. I will be returning. The servers were so nice.

The food is delicious. it's a guilty pleasure spot. If I went there all the time I'd have to visit the doctor more often lol. The reason it's not 5 stars is because last time I went I brought a friend and was let down. I had to repeatedly ask for my items to be warmed up. It didn't seem like the lady wanted to do it and then she charged me for each baked good be warned up as if there was a separate oven for each. 5 pan de Bono, 25¢ cents each came out to an extra $1.25. My buddy and I got into our own cars and went on our way. When I got to the first red light I reached for a bread and it was not warm at all.I take pride in places that I recommend, if only the worker took as much pride in her service.

My husband and I love the pan queso. Always fresh and delicious. The customer service is always excellent too. So we decided to order our daughter’s tres leche birthday cake from this bakery. It was delicious and everyone at the party loved the cake. The baker was very communicative and decorated the cake just how we wanted it.

The almojabanas, the coffee, the buñelos are all so good. Always fresh and better than most Colombian bakeries that I have tried. I've been coming here for years! Stopped by recently after a few months away and I'm just so disappointed that the prices keep going up. Almojabanas and buñelos are now $2 ea. + tax. That's a lot more than other bakeries. It's cash only and I rarely have cash on me. Thought I had enough cash for 3 pastries and a coffee based on the prices they used to charge but the new prices threw me off and I didn't have enough. SO close! If they took cards I would've certainly bought more. Whenever I'm in the area (with cash), I tend to stop by. If they raise the prices one more time, I'll probably go somewhere else.

Their food is good (the beef empanada was a bit salty though) and the atmosphere is also nice. The service was quick and friendly. Just one thing is you have to pay cash only. If you're looking for authentic Colombian food this is the place in the area.
