We ate her both before and after we went to Mexico for a week of vacation at a resort in Riviera Maya. The food we ate at El Rinconcito was better than being in Mexico! We are vegetarians and the burritos we got were tasty and fabulous. You could tell that everything was made fresh. I only wish I lived closer to JFK so I could eat there more often.

The burritos are incredibly delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend trying the agua fresca, as it perfectly complements the flavors of the burritos. The customer service was also exceptional, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. This being a Neighborhood restaurant and fairly new to me I decided to give it a try.Space is medium sized with nice wood tables and color on the walls say Mexico, loved it.Ordered four different platters for the four of us.The Mera Mera is actually really good, has lettuce tomato and onions on the side. This is basically a soft tortilla decorated with cheese and a white sauce. Inside to the good stuff, some grilled ham steak tips, chorizo and melted cheese.The person in my party loved it and it was quite filling she reported.My other party had a platter, Plato de Carnitas served with rice, beans , pico de gallo on the side and chunks of beef. Very filling and also satisfied.Other party had a quesadilla but it wasn’t a traditional one like we are used to having, not a bad thing. This was a flour tortilla with steak tips and gooey melted yummy cheese. On the side it had shredded lettuce and tomatoes.Myself, had a Taquitos Dorado, three chicken mini tacos that were actually quite good because the hard taco was crunchy, do wish they offered beef too. This was accompanied with black beans and yellow rice. I loved my platter it was a perfect taste and not super seasoned like some places.Table service was pretty good too. Waitress was very attentive. Place was empty which I liked, this being around 8pm on a Saturday.Overall very satisfied and very affordable in 2023’s inflated economy. Around $12-$15 per platter i was surprised. Definitely recommended.

And boy, it is a little corner full of flavors, I have had lunch there on Liberty Ave, New York, since I tried the food, very warm attention from the young lady from Honduras, typical of our Central American people, who offers you the menu, very kindly and attentively, to this add the exquisite flavor of their roasts, which have been the ones I liked the most. Highly recommended.
