This place is one of my top favorite Mexican restaurants in NYC. Great food, excellent service and the people are amazing! Their tortas are the best in NYC!

This is my preferred taco spot in the area since my favorite closed. The service is very straightforward and efficient.

Their priority is getting you your food promptly. I’ve never had a service issue, and any impression of rudeness seems unintentional—just a byproduct of their speed and focus, so I would let it slide.

Revolting. Ordered chicken burrito. Raw. No meat whatsoever. Wet all over. Slapped together with no finesse. No flavour. Zero stars. Tasted like licking a brick or eating sawdust.

The food is good but the person on the phone lacks communication and professional talk, I asked if I could pay with card over the phone and the lady tells me cash only lol

The food here might be decent to some, but the staff is an absolute disaster. From the front counter to the kitchen, there is a serious lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service. Every time I come in, I’m met with disorganized chaos — people laughing loudly, flirting with each other, completely distracted, and clearly not taking their jobs seriously.

I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt more times than I can count, but enough is enough. I work nearby and have been ordering a very simple breakfast from here: an egg and cheese sandwich with hot sauce, butter, salt, and pepper. That’s it. And somehow, every single day last week, they messed it up. Sometimes they forgot the hot sauce. Other times, they skipped the butter or the seasoning. One day, they got it wrong three times in a row, which is honestly absurd.

I even sent a Spanish-speaking friend to make sure the order was understood clearly — and they still got it wrong. There seems to be a complete lack of communication and care from both the kitchen staff and the front counter. The employees seem more interested in joking around in the back than actually paying attention to what they’re doing.

Worse, I have a tomato allergy, and instead of putting hot sauce, they used ketchup on my sandwich. That’s not just a small mistake — it could’ve sent me to the hospital. When I brought this to their attention, it felt like they didn’t take it seriously at all. Food safety should be a top priority, and it clearly isn’t here.

I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. A restaurant that can’t consistently fulfill such a basic order — and fails to respect food allergies — has no business serving customers. Until they get their act together and bring some structure and professionalism to both the kitchen and the front desk, I can’t recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off spending your money where staff are trained, attentive, and actually care about doing their jobs right.
