Empire Shop deserves all the hype and the title of best deli in Queens!! The NYPD sandwich was an absolute banger. The place is spotless, the vibes are great, and Danny is super nice. Definitely recommend checking it out

I stood at the counter waiting for 30 minutes. There was no explanation for why the food was delayed, and no one was there to hand out the orders while I am waiting. The frie are not hot and soked with oil too much.

Great burgers, sandwiches, and smoothies. Their smoothies are especially good, made only with banana, no added sugar or ice. They also have a fun little game where if you stop the timecode exactly on ten, you win a prize. Daniel, the owner, is really friendly and makes the place feel welcoming.
Danny and team are amazing! Super friendly and the food is just superb. The NYPD is my absolute favorite and the Horchata is out of this world! Do yourself a favor and stop by because you won't regret it!!

I heard about Empire Shop through Time Out. They won best sandwich shop award in all of Queens. They are for real! Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!!! Must tries sandwiches, the Cuban, Italian, Chicken Parm. Can't wait to go back and try their other stuff. Their burgers are tasty too. The owners are welcoming and friendly

Empire Shop NYC in Sunnyside absolutely deserves its “Best Deli” title. I tried their chop cheese and the perfectly toasted bread took it to another level. My sister loved the burrata BLT with their homemade green sauce — she couldn’t stop talking about it. We also had fries and churros, both spot‑on and delicious. On top of all that, the prices are super affordable, which makes enjoying such high‑quality food even better. Friendly vibes, amazing food — definitely a must‑visit in Queens.
