They have a huge variety of fresh pastries that I know for fact are brought in daily. I see the truck deliver before 8am daily. I just bought a fruit sponge cake and it was delicious.

Stopped in after my doctor's appointment; picked up a roast pork bun ($2.25). Could've used more filling. There was no cashier at the time; a lady doing inventory noticed me, but continued to do her thing. There's a good amount of seating in the back of store, but the area is dimly lit, & unwelcoming.

Food is average. Customer service is the stereotypical "I'll be friendly to my own kind". My husband didn't fit that criteria. Needless to say we won't be visiting any of their locations anymore. There's a lot more competition around who provide better service.

Dining area is poorly lighted and should be kept clean. Ladies behind the counter are cheerful.

When I come here, I normally get curry puff pastry, sesame balls, and hot dog buns with an iced milk tea with/without pearls. This location is conveniently located outside the Jackson Heights subway station so you can get a quick bite before or after work. The food for the most part has been fresh. There are plenty of options to choose from -- though I do think it is a tad bit more expensive than Rainbow Bakery. Service-wise -- the employees are friendly. They speak Mandarin as well so if you are a native speaker, you can get your point across faster. You can always eat inside, but from what I've seen the bakery has usually been pretty packed during the morning hours so you have to be lucky to get a spot. Also, because it is located near the subway station, I've seen instances where homeless people would come in and beg for change. Overall, a decent spot for baked Chinese goods and milk tea drinks.

I wasn't feeling good and was hungry as well wanted something quick. So went to Fay da at justice ave to grab a sandwich. When i was eating the sandwich i was looking at my phone and took my first bite fish was hard and rubbery to rip and bite thought maybe its little cold thats why. After the second bite i looked down and discovered under the breadcrumbs it was totally a raw fish. It made me through up like hell. I went to the store with it then looked at the fish sandwich tray all of them looks like the breadcrumbs was coming off and its raw, requested to speak to the manager and said not available when i showed it to them they just took it to the back and spoke to another lady i dont know if she was the manager or not. They threw away mine and came outside looked at the fish tray then gave me back my $3.50.Its not only about the money they didnt felt like apologies or any explanation for the incident. Sometimes the food on the shelf is not covered with the wrap and wide open ppl are talking, coughing while taking the food.I used to love their bubble tea, coffe and tuna bun nd the other baked item but after today i dont think i will be going there anymore. While i am writing this still feeling like wanna throw up. Thats how bad it was. If i wann i couldve make a big deal out of it but i just wnate to warn ⚠️ themMaintaing a restaurant is not a joke. Customers health should be the first priority for the food business not only to make profit out of it.Attn: @Fay Da bakery Hopefully you will read my message and take action to be very careful with the food that you r serving.SincerelyFaria Rahman

I'm not the most adventurous eater. I'll try new things but I prefer Italian based desserts. I've only had a couple of the sweets here and they're good (but not cheap!). Coffee is very fairly priced and tastes good. That's what I mainly go to Fay Da Bakery for during my lunch breaks from work. Service is quick, they keep the line moving (which can be surprisingly long sometimes mid-day).

Have been going to this location for years. The food has always been good and the staff were fine for the most part. Until today. When I went to pay for my food, the total cost being $4.10 all together, I handed a $10 bill, but the cashier tried to pull a fast one on me. She gave me 10 cents back and didn't give me the rest of my change. When I asked where is the rest of my change, the lady claimed I gave her $5.00.I was appalled. I insisted she give me back my change and we got into a whole argument. Even the other staff women were siding with her and ganging up on me when I know how much I gave in cash. I didn't budge until she rudely gave me back the rest of my change.I don't know what happened to the staff here, but beware when you give in cash. Make sure they give you back the correct change since it looks like they don't want to give you back what you're owed. I won't be coming back anytime soon after the staff would so brazenly cheat you out of your money after you paid the right amount.

My order was a chicken bao and milk tea. I really enjoyed my order! The bao wasn't too stuffed or filling, so it was just what I wanted. The milk tea was also just what I wanted! There's a variety of delicious, affordable bakery options here, and I really enjoyed taking my order to Elmhurst park :)
