Very disappointed! I've been going to Fay Da for years the forest hills location and the west 4th location. I think west 4th is the best one, even forest hills and definitely this location the coffee tea was sad. It was all coffee ground taste and no tea taste. The chocolate walnut bun wasn't as sweet, less condensed milk on top and less raisins. I hope the other things are good but if this is a chain the whole $10 minimum on card is also getting tiring.

I always come to this bakery and today on my way home from work I’m so excited that I saw them they still open around 630 pm , and I check there dessert in there showcased and I pick pecan tart and pecan cheesecake , when the employee from the register I keep calling her she’s not even paying attention ! And one of the customer told her that I need help , when she came to me I pointed the ones I like , and she gave me the other cheesecake that I don’t like because it doesn’t look like a pecan cheesecake, and when I told her to change it one of the other employee changed it for me and when she put the pecan cheesecake in the container she throw it thru the register and the first employee who’s helping me first is starting to get mad also , and they start talking In Chinese and start laughing in front of my face I even told them it’s not nice the way they act , it’s unprofessional I know we have a long day at work but u need to keep your patience to all your customers hopefully one of the manager can read this review. I’m not coming back to this bakery anymore even I lived 2 blocks from that place !

I really like the bakeries of this cafe.. but today i encountered a staff member (cashier) touching the trash can and came to the station and didn’t change the gloves and instead she just rinsed her gloved hand in sink for 2 secs and thats it. It is very unacceptable and unhygienic for the direct food handler for not maintaining proper hygiene. Hope this message reaches out to the owner and take appropriate action.

Perfectly nice Chinese bakery with a good assortment of tasty goods. However, there is a crazed homeless man who hangs out in the shop 24-7. He harasses the female clientele by trying to carry their items with the expectation of payment in return. If they refuse, he swears at them. With male customers, he attempts to establish dominance. He yells, threatens violence, uses homophobic language, and is an unsettling menace. The staff tolerated his behavior and did not step in despite his harassment of at least 3 customers while I was in the store.This is an unsafe environment, and an extraordinarily unpleasant one if you happen to be LGBT. I don't understand why the staff isn't booting him from the store, or why the city isn't stepping in.

Yummmmmm. Can't go wrong with this backery. Reasonable prices. Tasty treats. They had a few bistro tables to enjoy your food inside. The whole place felt very clean. The staff working was nice. They take credit over 10$
