My go to place for Cantonese food, from dim sum to lunch to dinner. Tastes great and portions are huge for the price, had to pack leftovers almost every time. Has a parking lot in the back so very convenient.

Also has a takeout place that you can buy dim sum to go, either fresh or frozen, so you can enjoy it immediately or cook it yourself later. Very unique and don’t see this in other Cantonese restaurant

Despite passing by every day, I never had the opportunity to try this place until recently. You can find the typical dim sum food like siu mai, honey-comb beef tripes, and rice noodles shrimps. However, there's not many options. I'll say you can find roughly 75% of the foods you typically find in other dim sum places.

The timing also makes it difficult. If you come before 11am, the trolley that comes by are few. Now, more trolley will frequent after 11am, but that's also when there's a crowd at the front door.

Nonetheless, the food is pretty decent. The foods that my table ordered were satisfying and filled the stomach!

I ordered double lobsters because I knew they had a special price for that. The guy told me it would be $39 for takeout, so I went to their takeout department to place the order. There, they told me the price was $20. I asked how it could be so cheap, and then realized they had only ordered a single lobster for me. They corrected it and changed my order to double lobsters.

When I got home and opened the tray, I tried so hard to find the lobster legs, but I only found one whole leg inside. I called them over 15 times to address the problem, but no one answered the phone. So I went back to the restaurant.

A short-haired lady told me that because it was a special offer, I only got what I got. I told her that nowhere did it state that the special offer meant missing parts. I asked for a refund. The lady said it was okay to give me a refund, but insisted that I was wrong in the first place. I replied, “You’re not being honest.”

At that moment, a man stepped in and told the lady to stop. I said I didn’t want to argue, but the lady kept accusing me of being unreasonably troublesome (无理取闹). The man also gave me an attitude, saying, “Now she’s stopped, can you stop talking too?”

Actually, today is my birthday. They didn’t ruin my mood, I’m just happy I spoke up for myself.

I love this Dim Sum Restaurant. They have great hospitality and amazing authentic southern Cantonese cuisine. It tasted like when I lived in China. It's definitely my favorite Dim Some spot in Murray Hill Area! ♥️✨️

Came here for dim sum and it did not disappoint. It's not as large as some of the other places in downtown Flushing, so if you go at their peak hours, it's much more crowded, but their selection is pretty good. There were a few items that they had for dim sum that I haven't had at other places before, which was pretty nice. Their shrimp dumplings were super fresh. The shrimp was plump and the right texture and perfectly seasoned. I also like how parking is easier here compared to other places in downtown Flushing.

The food was not bad but the service can be a bit better. The place doesn’t look all run down.

Authentic Chinese Dim Sum in the morning and early afternoon. Delicious Cantonese style dinner for night time. Perfect for family gatherings. It's always busy.

Been here before and food is good, little bit pricy. Service is iffy. This is for my most recent take out order though - ordered two dishes for take out. One was walnut shrimp. Got home and order was missing the walnuts. Had to go out of the way to go back for half of the dish.

When Fifty Bay first opened, their service was decent, food was delicious and for their higher price tag was portioned fairly. It was my go to spot with family and friends at least 2x a month. However, we have noticed their sharp decline in service, food quality and portions which all have slipped beyond passable. Today, was my last visit. I suggest you take your money elsewhere too.

My family and I (12 ppl) came for dimsum today. We waited for 15 minutes just outside their parking lot but the attendant was no where to be found. So we searched for street parking which are few and far from the restaurant. As other reviewers have mentioned, the attendant plays Houdini frequently and despite parking yourselves the attendant will still demand a $3 tip (previously $2). On one occasion, I witnessed him getting into an argument with a guest and hurled some nasty insults.

We asked the hostess for a private room but they required a $400 minimum which seems unreasonable since we have never had one in the past. Instead we were shoved into a table meant for 10. Upon being seated, we requested a high chair but was turned down. The server mentioned our child was too small for it although we have used one in a previous visit. The server was very dismissive. Surveying the room, none of the other 5 toddlers were in high chairs because we were all packed in like sardines.

Then I asked a different waiter for a drink from their bakery, which I have ordered at every visit before, I was told they did not have it. Followed by some bullshit excuse of not having ice. This was a complete lie. My husband went to their bakery to order my iced drink. The server just did not want to make the extra effort.

We dropped a pair of chopsticks and asked four different waiters for a new pair and it took 30 minutes.

We ordered beef chow fun with gravy but got the version without which was very bland with few pieces of beef.

On two occasions the cart ladies added things to our table without any of us ordering. Since we were a large table and it was all our first meal of the day we did not want to go back and forth and just accepted their apologies and continued with our meal.

We noticed the portion sizes have been reduced, overall smaller dumplings and less filling as compared to in the past.

Towards the end of our meal, the waiter came by and took our tally sheet and rang us up but none of us asked for the bill and we were not done eating.

While we were still seated, taking care of the bill another waiter brought dirty dishes from the table over and began bussing our table.

The service was unacceptable today.
