A little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. Everything is fresh and homemade. The people here are always so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, tasty Korean food!

The kimbap here used to be great: good flavor, packed with ingredients. But recently they've been significantly skimping on the proteins. Foodside, I would much rather pay more for a satisfying meal than pay existing prices for something less-than-satisfying. Please reconsider!

This review is for the portion. My husband stopped by this place to try it out and I had him order me an eel bowl. When he got home I was so disappointed on how SMALL this bowl is for $20!! I understand that eel can be pricey but you could at least give more rice and/or pickled sides. The bowl is the size of my hand and I’m only 5 ft and 110 lbs… my hand is small. Based on that, we won’t order from here again. The bowl is nothing special. I’ve had better and for less than what this place robs you for.

For lunch, the chicken teriyaki bowl was *chefs kiss*. The portion I was served was just the right size so I didn’t feel sluggish afterwards. Chicken was cooked to temperature, the sauce combined well with the carrots, cucumber and rice. Nothing bad to say about this place and love that it’s close to work.

Bulgogi was delicious!

Its a takeout place for sushi and other Korean food. She makes it by herself, maybe the owner. If you don't like waiting you can call ahead for pick up. I have order 3 times from there now, I personally like it. I like the spicy pork dupbap and spicy salmon roll, that I keep ordering.

I never do reviews but this place is fairly new and I’ve not loved a restaurant more in this neighborhood. The quality you get for the price you pay is unmatched, people will say NYC is expensive but just walk right by a restaurant like this. To be fair, being take out only makes it harder to really enjoy just cause I hate waiting on the walk home for this food. Once I dropped half my bulgogi kimbap on the street on my way home and 5 second rule’d it and immediately popped it into my mouth because I refused to let it go to waste. Wish I was joking. Anyways, great lunch or dinner spot to grab something on your way home or to work.

The food was yummy but there isn’t even a single table in the store to eat. Would absolutely do take out again. Had spicy tuna kimbap - it was perfectly delicious and the flavors were well melded together.

An under the radar, unassuming takeout spot that I've always passed by but decided to do a pickup order today and to my surprise the quality of this place is amazing. I ordered the Chicken teriyaki bowl and bulgogi bibimbap and the taste was parallel to a sit down restaurant with delicious savory flavors, fresh crunchy vegetables throughout as well as being a more than satisfying portion. Love that there is stuff to order as well as having food and drinks to go. Also tried out the Boba which was noticeably cheaper than the ones in the immediate area. I had a tasty Taro Boba that wasn't too-too sweet(compliment) but with sub par Boba pearls that could've been fresher.

Overall for a spot right outside woodside train station this is sure to be my new staple go to for some genuinely tasty and delicious food!

Update (2024/4): Their kimbab is not what it used to be. Only marginally better and pricier than the kimbabs you can find at the HMart.

Very good kimbab for reasonable price.
