A little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. The kimbap here used to be great: good flavor, packed with ingredients. But recently they've been significantly skimping on the proteins. Foodside, I would much rather pay more for a satisfying meal than pay existing prices for something less-than-satisfying. Please reconsider!
For lunch, the chicken teriyaki bowl was *chefs kiss*. The portion I was served was just the right size so I didn’t feel sluggish afterwards. Chicken was cooked to temperature, the sauce combined well with the carrots, cucumber and rice. Nothing bad to say about this place and love that it’s close to work.
