The brown butter banana latte is good! Everything was combined nicely and the drink itself was perfectly sweet. The banana taste came in more subtly. I felt I initially taste the brown butter before the banana aftertaste comes through. The cafe itself is really cute and there’s some tables for seating. We also tried the carrot cake which was delicious and the cream cheese frosting was great.
I’ve been to Forest Cafe multiple times and every time I’ve gone, the atmosphere and service has been exceptional. However, I have noticed that everytime I get my drink made by a particular barista, my drink isn’t up to par. I’ve been coming here since it opened, and I haven’t had any issues with drinks before. I now live in a completely different country and this is still my favorite coffee shop. I didn’t even live in the same neighborhood in Queens as FC and this was still my favorite coffee shop lol. The drinks, the food, the vibes……immaculate. Never had a bad beverage or treat from these guys and doubt I ever will. So much love and care has gone into this place and it 100% shows.
