I will give it another try. Waitress would disappear for long periods, including before we ordered and when we wanted to pay. Food was good. Side dish arrived late - think they forgot it in original order.

The food here was enjoyable — flavors were balanced, portions were fair, and everything arrived fresh. However, the real highlight was the atmosphere. Warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a relaxed vibe made it a place you'd want to linger in. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the setting. Our waitress was friendly but forgetful, missing a few of our requests and needing reminders more than once. Overall, a pleasant spot for the ambiance, but service could use some polishing.

New Years Eve at Tavern 18. Great choice! Always great service, great food and we will keep coming back. Love a neighborhood restaurant like this. Hats off to the owner!!

We ordered the porterhouse and the meat quality and flavor was very subpar. Definitely not worth the price.

Another year and another birthday celebrated at Galo!s and it never disappoints! My entire family enjoyed the food and the service was great as always.

My experience here was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

The atmosphere befits a seasoned steakhouse with fine fare. It's very comfortable and suitabke fur multiple occasions, from a first date to group celebration, or business meeting. The wait staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was well prepared and delicious. Though most in my party had the steak, I had the fish n chips and another had a burger. We were all happy with our meals and as a group of middle-aged man celebrating a birthday we enjoyed ourselves very much!

At last count, this is the third name this establishment has had, yet the food remains excellent! I consider it a local go-to place even though it’s a 15-20 minute drive, because it’s consistently great (and the restaurants in my neighborhood suck, other than some Thai restaurants). Dinner specials are well priced. You really can’t go wrong here. The only drawbacks are that it can get crowded/noisy early, but I go at the more quiet times.

Honest review based on dinner and brunch. I’ve tried the steaks. It’s good, not great. I would never come here on a day when steaks are full price. I come when steaks are half off on Thursday. If i have to pay full price, I’d go to a better steak house. As for brunch, I’ve always wanted to try because of the awards they have shown in front of the restaurant for best brunch or 2025. Brunch was okay here. I got the sampler with egg bacon and sausages. It was good but heavily drowned in oil.

Food is mostly delicious. People are lovely, friendly, helpful. Place is charming. Prices are competitive.
I like this place enough to keep going back.

Came here to celebrate my cousins 40th birthday and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Don’t even know where to begin, our waitress Rachelle provided us excellent service & made sure we were always well taken care of. The food & drinks were exceptionally delicious. Nicole also took excellent care of us, we felt so at home & would highly recommend this place & would happily come back!
