A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores...

The guys that helped us gets 110%. The gelato is super delicious. Among our favorites were the figo, Ferrero R and I forgot the one that I got but it had caramel. People that work there are friendly and helpful.

The best gelato I've had anywhere (maybe I didn't get the right stuff when I was in Italy ?). I recommend Figo to all my friends and always take people when they visit Astoria. Love this place!
