Bad experience with staff here. One night I didn't know what to eat, was being indecisive with the many food options in this area, and ran into sidewalk sign inviting me in to enjoy a daily special. 50% a certain entree item for the day. What a great promotion I thought, I'll definitely try this place. There was a young guy that looked like could be a manager. I told him I wanted the special. After I paid he yelled back to the cooks: They have a "Chambo." "what's that mean" they replied as if in on the joke. "Broke. We got a broke." The joking banter continued and the manager guy let my to-go food sit there, as I waited in the empty restaurant. Finally he asked "what's this?" and then acted like he didn't realize my food was ready. I should have asked for a refund but I just threw my food out and bought a yummy halal food cart plate down the street and tipped hard on it. It was so embarrassing. Luckily I am nowhere near broke right now thank god but I can't imagine how someone who is struggling might feel in such a situation, or how someone could think it's ok to try to make someone feel that way.
Visiting from Florida. Have to say this was something I wouldn’t ever consider but my buddy suggested this place. Blown away by the flavors and sauces. Hope to see this in south Florida in the near future.
