If you want to be transported to another realm, order a ham and cheese croissant with a pain au chocolat for desert. You’re welcome.

I love the food, and the people who run it are great. My problem is they use Seamless delivery App, and this was the third time my food was NOT delivered, but the driver claimed it was. I literally was standing outside my building and watched the driver stop a minute then drive away. A second later the App said "Delivered". I will no longer order from Ghaya as long as they are using Seamless

This is the best coffee shop & bakery in NYC. The sweetest staff & everything is made fresh. Definitely get the hazelnut bouza and the pistachio croissant.

One of the worst food I’ve eaten.I got the avacado smash and poached eggs. There were egg shells in the avacado smash and the avacados were stale. The price point is overpriced for the stale food that they serve.Coffee ?- watery coffee with no taste

I discovered some water scale-like substance in my coffee, which was truly off-putting. It's a shame that such an issue occurred.

The employees were kind but the drink was not good.I ordered a cortado and it tasted watery and overly bitter. I told the barista it tasted weak, but wasn't offered a solution. I work as a barista; it tasted like 2 drinks were poured from the same grinds or the espresso machine was mis-callibrated.The advertised price on the board($3.50) is also different than what was charged ($4). I said some and was told the prices are not updated.Outdoor seating is clean.

The seasonal danish was delicious and went nicely with my latte. They use Malongo coffee, which in my previous experience at other cafes, were too dark for my preference. However, my latte was bold but balanced and smooth. There was limited seating within the cafe premises but they have outdoor seating and more seats are available in Jax & Co dining area. Next time I’ll try the savory items.

Pastries look pretty good, but the iced coffee is weak. Skimps in the beans and they’re not particularly great beans either.

The pastries here are pretty unique and really tasty. Pistachio croissant is loaded with powdered pistachio, and has a pistachio filling on the inside that isn’t overbearingly sweet. Peach danish is also really good. Nice to bring as a gift since they’re also pretty to look at!

The coffee is good and the staff are friendly but they charge for oat milk. I’m not talking about when you get a latte, which is annoying but tolerable because most (though not all) places do it. I’m talking about when you get a bit of milk added to your brewed coffee, which nowhere else charges for. However, if you ask for “just a splash of oat milk” instead of “a little bit of oat milk”, they don’t charge. Weird but it was working and our relationship got better. But then I forgot to say the magic words one time and got charged. Annoying, so I just stopped coming here.

Their French toast is one of the best brunches I’ve had. It had toasted almonds, vanilla bean chantilly cream, and berry purée.Pure divine. And only $13! One of the bakers is French which I take to be a good sign.I also had their iced white champagne tea. Very niceWorth stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood. Lots of seating area as it’s connected to the Jax&Co food hall.

Got iced teas - Iced Citrus Espresso Tea and Iced Fresh Mint & Green Tea and macrons. The citrus espresso tea was good and unique. Had a street entrance and it part of the Jax&Co food hall.

The coffee is very subpar. They never let me put the amount og oatmilk that I want, and they charge extra for a decent splash. I also got a smal steamed cafe ole and it still was not even hot and it was 5 dollars.

Great coffee spot in LIC. I had the chicken sandwich with an iced coffee. Iced coffee was a little weak for me so I’d skip it next time. Can’t wait to come back for the pastries and try the Matcha Latte.
