Who ever the chief if they need to be fired. The Oxtail should not be so hard and has big nasty fat on it do better.
I know the attitudes I am use to that but when you are gonna suck your teeth and mek up yur face no way am I going to spend my hard earn money with you. Who ever that new girl is, sad to say she needs to be away from customers. 7/8/23 3:00pm The last day I’ll step into tht location. Reminder 2025 still ain’t been back
Numerous times we have gone to this Golden Crust and they didn't have any vegetables. We'll today was the last straw for us. It's 3:00 PM and they don't have any ox tails. Not to mention you stand on the line and when you get up to the counter they inform you. This is the WORST run Golden Crust. Who ever owns this location does not know how to run a business.
Not nice service. 3 starts is a lot. Came for pick-up and it's like if I am a problem. I am trying to get it done. And you knew you couldn't fulfill it and let me drive all the way here. Unacceptable.
The soup here is ice. Cold soup is supposed to be hot. Stop serving soups that are cold. The people coming to buy hot soup.. my goat head was so cold I I was not late and rushing I would have come back with it
I was greeted in from of store by individual who offered Easter bun for sale. This was what I went to store for. I didn’t purchased any of the prepared meals during this visit but everything looked delicious.
I ordered take out and got some fish and sides. I couldn't tell if it the fish were good pieces or not but when I got home, there was practically no fish on the bones. It was fried to almost burnt. I wish I didn't buy it. Most times the fish is good but this is the 2nd time it happened where there was practically no fish at all but mostly dough that falls completely apart with the first bite due to it being over fried. The other sides were just okay. It's hit or miss.
Instead of calling people about the uber orders they just cancel and this is numerous times. Terrible for business, DO BETTER!
The food is good. I love their ackee and saltfish, the soup and fried chicken. However, the disgusting attitudes from the staff keeps me away. There is a tall slim gentleman who never speaks and is just plain rude. Most of the other servers are miserable and nasty as well. It’s very hard for me to support a business when the workers are mean and lack basic customer service skills. The food for the most part is great but with the prices and the lack of decency and simple respect from the staff, It’s not worth it.
Customer service is terrible and they have changed their serving container to the small plastic ones that holds less food. Won't be going out of my way from Long Island like I always do, anymore to come here until things changes

Does the phone work?
At all? I’ve called 15 times in a row now.
Food is good but everything else about a customer centric business is off.
Edit: one week later, I’ve called 6 times now in a row. Still no answer. There is no where on the DoorDash to provide special instructions since the restaurant has disabled that option.
The first place I stopped at when I flew into New York City. The food was good. The atmosphere was good and the service was also great. Went home and had the food tasted so good. Will certainly be back here when I visit again.
Based on the taste of the food, the portion sizes and the selection, this place deserves 5 stars but can only get 2 from me because every single time I’ve been here, the staff’s POOR customer service can sour the taste right out of your mouth. My partner was ordering and asking a question for clarity about the salmon dish he loves to get and the server literally walked off. I stand in line and see and hear other customers bristle and grumble about the unfriendly, unsmiling staff. So I know it’s not me alone…I am saddened that West Indian businesses are plagued by a bad reputation for horrible customer service. When I see it in action each time I come here, I can only say it’s well earned. There is no reason why the music has to be so loud it’s like a dance hall and the servers can’t hear the patrons unless they shout. There is a tall male cashier who may be mute, so I don’t want to offend him, but his distracted unengaged demeanor is plain old rude. A SMILE in greeting or some acknowledgement of the customer would go a long way. I spend $60-$120 each time I visit, and it vexes me because I really don’t like giving my money to a place where I am not welcomed, valued or treated well. Yet, I so want to continue to support our West Indian businesses. Yes, I agree with another reviewer about the taste of that chicken soup that is straight from heaven!! I literally hum with each spoonful when I get to the car and start in on it because I can’t wait to get home. I have a cucumber pineapple ginger blend from the juice fountain that the only nice server I have ever met there (summer 2024) had introduced me to with a sample. I have it every time since. No one had ever upsold me a product before or since. Yet it’s so easy to do. She’s long gone and replaced by another of the sour servers behind the counter. Owners/managers, you have a great business AND your staff is detracting from its reputation. They need to be trained or re-trained on how to provide exceptional customer experiences that delights your well deserving customers each and every time they patronize your establishment.
So I was told this location had the best food. It was OK to me. Please know it’s always the same thing with a lot of restaurants it’s the attitudes of the staff. The vibe gives everyone seems very much miserable accept maybe one lady. The food was Ok! I had the curry goat and rice and peas the rice had a bit of a burnt taste. Now the Patty that was a 10 I had something else and I will give it 7. Now The Prices Chileeeee prepare to be charged some prices lol. Then you go pay all this money for your food and the cashier doesn’t speak at all No Hello, No thank yo, just charge up your Card lol smh. It’s a first and last time for me but hey I gave it a try.
The worst piece of jerk chicken I everrr had.
You might get away with it when you serve someone who doesn’t know about cooking.
Get a real chef. I had to throw it away.
