I went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Their empanadas were so delicious! Me and my husband had the parrilla house and it was good but not what I expected! I gave it 3 stars because they forcefully charge a service fee when the service wasn’t all that good and the waiter looked annoyed like she wanted us to hurry up and order. When we walked in, there was NO ONE there to greet us we looked clueless we didn’t know if we should just seat ourselves or wait on someone to escort us to a table. For the amount I paid I could’ve took my husband somewhere where we could’ve got our moneys worth. The spot is overall very nice and comfy but I think I’d only come back for the empanadas.

I have to say this is the best Venezuelan restaurant by far. The food is AMAZING please make you a favor and order the PEPITO. But the review is not over, I have to mention how great Will our server was! He made us feel like home thank you so much ❤️

This place was amazing! Our waiter/friend Will made my boyfriend and I feel very comfortable. He was hospitable and friendly. The food was delicious! The ambience was an added surprise. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good food and company. Will be back soon! ✨

Best experience I’ve had at a restaurant the food was amazing and affordable. The workers were friendly and attentive and it’s just such a positive and welcoming vibe all around. My mother’s boyfriend proposed to her here and it was beautiful a worker even sang for us it was a great experience would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit Gonzo’s and thank you to the staff here for such a wonderful experience

Every course from the appetizer through the dessert was light, fresh and novel, yet familiar. Every bite was a delightful discovery-- we had the mini arepas, choripan and lemon tart.Our server, Willie, was welcoming, witty, warm and attentive.Definitely coming back and added this to our list of anniversary restaurants!

I came to Gonzo’s with a friend for a moms night. She was gushing about how much she loved the food she had to bring me. It was my first time having Venezuelan food and I’m so glad she brought me because everything about this place is incredible. From our amazing waiter to the food, decor and ambiance it was all amazing. I started with the mango smoothie and it was delicious. Finished that. We ordered the empanadas and arepas to share and they were so delicious and the green sauce! Give me a straw cuz that green sauce was sooooo good! If you like cilantro, you’ll love the green sauce. Moving on, we ordered the pabellon criollo which was recommended by our amazing waiter and he knows what he’s talking about. 5 stars delicious! We were so full but when we heard there was flan, how can we say no? There is always room for flan. Smooth and delicious! We finished everything. Compliments to the chef/owner and our waiter! Thank you for a great experience.

Gonzo’s is great place to eat. Big choice of meals, burgers, arepas, salads and other items of typical Venezuelan cuisine. Interior is a piece of art, nice music. Host is very welcoming. They’re open till late , it’s perfect place if you want to have a late dinner.

Good for friends and family!I was able to meet the owner, a genuine and attentive person, also the staff was super friendly and open to give out suggestions! Food tasted exceptional, with affordable prices and with some mix and match options.Ask to try their ice cool Venezuelan beers, plus their interesting plate called pepito and just enjoy the music while your stomach get a nice treatment!!!

So I went to visit this new restaurant near my place and let me tell YOUUU..... WOWWWW!!! First off you have the decor. It is like nothing you have ever seen. Fotos of the beautiful country of Venezuela on one wall, an original mural with the beautiful Venezuelan flag colors on another, and a green leaf wall just perfect for pictures. Then the FOOD! While we visited we had appetizers, which included the mini arepas, the mini empanadas, and the tequeños. OMG!!!! HEAVEN!! The one that really took the cake were the mini arepas. Please dont be fooled by the word "mini", they were small but were VERY FILLING. Lastly, the service. We were let in by the owner who seems like a great person, very welcoming and nice. Not shy to strike up a small conversation. There was also Willy. He was just so full of smiles and really lit up the room when he walked in, carrying his smile. Wasnt afraid to offer suggestions and a very happy spirited person. Overall, I give this place a 11/10, and will be back again! Dont be shy and check them out!
