Am currently standing in this sorry excuse for a business. The staff are ruse and unhelpful. Save yourself the bother and take your business elsewhere.

Terrible experience happened to me just 10 min ago at JFK airport terminal 4. The server tried to charge me double dishes. When I pointed out he said he would fix it later then he brought me a receipt with bottle of water he never brought me. Watch out and don't afraid to confront it.

Eh not great...even for airport food. Drinks were okay but overpriced. Salad tasted like subway lettuce. Olives tasted odd. Spinach & artichoke dip wasnt bad but the chips were somewhat stale. Service was good however. Theres other places around to try for food, but service/drinks are good here.

As bad as they say. Bartender clueless on drinks. Hair in my food. No service. It's hard to find good service at JFK but this was my worst so far.

Got a couple beers. First choice wasn't cold enough as they'd just restocked (at least bartender told me) and then the bartender just sort of ... goldfished his way through the rest. Forgot orders, had to be asked a couple times (it wasn't that busy) ... Anyway, if you're a captive audience like me at least the booze has booze in it!

Whew, I am glad that we were not in a rush when we visited this spot in JFK. I ordered a mimosa and my husband and I split an order of bruschetta. The service was so slow and the two staff members were not getting along. It was not staffed for the amount of people that were coming in, it is also expensive and the food was just okay.

Basic food, small portions, tiny sides, why even bother. It was served quickly and was warm. Keep walking. There are some brand name eateries around the corner.

While waiting at Termimal 7, we came here to grab a drink. There aren't too many choices in this terminal and this is one of two spot that's an actual restaurant/bar.We got a round of Old Fashioned cocktails. It's pricey, but good --gets the job done, basically. I wish they have spots to charge your phone here.

The food quality was excellent. I ordered the cranberry beet spinach/arugula salad with grilled chicken. Good portion size too. Service was quite slow, so if you're in a hurry, let them know. There's almost nowhere good to eat in Terminal 7, so I was pleasantly surprised. Adding a photo for your viewing pleasure.

Great place to sit down and get some work done and not be bothered by servers asking you if you would like to order anything. Seating area was 1/4 full, 3 servers/bartenders working, no one came by to even drop off a menu the whole 45 minutes I was there. Even made eye contact with them a few times. Was going to order a drink to justify taking up the table, but I didn't need to!

JFK Terminal 7 past the TSA checkpoint.Server was prompt, polite and attentive. Ambiance was nice - Large rectangular bar and an expansive table seating to the side with ample room between tables. Bar has a large runway view. Yes, the drink and food prices are very high but considering that you're in New York City and a major international airport, maybe not surprising. The prosciutto and fresh mozzarella ciabatta bun was fresh and delicious. The cranberry salad with the added grilled chicken was good as well. I had a canned beer that was cold and refreshing. My wife's Pinot Grigio was ok but for a wine bar, could have been better - seemed that the bottle had been open for a while. Overall a good experience and definitely a candidate for a return visit.

This review is for the Le Grand Comptoir location in JFK's Terminal 7.Gayle's and my experience was limited to drinks before our flight and having a place to sit and relax while waiting for our boarding time. Gayle enjoyed her Bloody Mary, while I was happy with coffee, the airports WIFI, and a chance to hang out and stare at my screen.

Super market cold section food and atmosphere at fine dining prices! Blue cheese martinis and rum+wine cocktails! You can have it all at Le Grand Comptoir. Don't miss this roadside attraction.

10/10 for Carlos! Excellent service and good airport food! We had the artichoke dip and the cranberry beet salad. Both were tasty and prepared quickly. Carlos went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed.Thank you for a nice experience dining at JFK!

Stopped in for drinks, and appetizer. It's the airport so they didn't have limes for our drinks. The bruschetta was good. They only give you 6 little pieces of bread so definitely a lot more tomato that bread ratio. They never came back to see if we needed anything once the shift changed
