I'm not Greek but I love the food I had the chicken slovaki lunch/dinner box and my brother had the pork box. Food is great and fresh. Location is very convenient. Price is a bit pricey but pretty standard for Greek food in the neighborhood. Overall a great place to hang out with family and friends to enjoy some good food in a relaxed environment

Just had a gyro and was extremely disappointed. There's literally 0 craft in this food. Some pita, lettuce and bad tasting meat. With some random tzatziki sauce. Everything low quality. You're probably used to people praising something just because it's 'Greek'. No, you have to actually put effort into finding the best way to make food taste good. And spend more money on quality ingredients. No one owes you anything just for the Greek label. Zero. can't believe people actually buy that.

I was exited to go there after couple of years. To my disappointment, it's not the same. The gyro is tasteless and reminds nothing from Greece.
When I walked in the restaurant and went to sit down a very rude and nasty girl at the counter told me it was self service, which i didnt know. There was no sign teling the customers that. When I looked at the menu i asked her a question about something she was very nasty and short with me like i was bothering her. I ordered the chicken box. It was very expensive for what they give you. A very little chicken a small couple of pieces very little. The rice was very hard in some places and they put peas and corn in it. It wasnt worth the price they charge for it.

I love this place, their chain is always consistent with flavor.
Quick tip- feeding a large group (perfect for football Sundays) get the gyro world platter.. mix of their meats, sauce and pita.. it’ll feed the group well!! It’s usually the reason I’m there (also a good way to meal prep to hit your protein goals)

Been trying to find a good Gyro spot for a while b/c the one near me on 21st & 36th St don't make fresh Gyro. So I tried this spot b/c it's part of a chain from Bayside. It looks almost exactly like it. I ordered 2 Gyro sandwich's and a side order of fries to go. I get in the bag 1 Gyro inside with fries. I had told the guy I wanted a side order of fries not a combo on top of that he only gave me 1 Gyro of which I also said 2 Gyro's. During check out I noticed the price of the Gyro was $19 each, I was like why is it so expensive, other spots charge like $10 to $12. The Gyro's was good and packed with meat and the fries were good as well, but it does not justify $19 a Gyro. I will think about coming here next time until I find another spot to order.
Ive been coming here for years! I am greek and know what a Gyro is supposed to taste like. This is it!

This place used to be great. The Tzatziki tasted spoiled … low quality cooking oil. Must be blended oils and other low quality ingredients. Much better Greek spots in Astoria.
