Halal Express

The food has always been delicious, but I may have caught COVID from this location. Have been cooking at home most of the time and thought to treat the self with being lazy, so I cannot imagine having caught COVID in any other circumstance. The cashier girl was not wearing any mouth covering and neither were the other people waiting for their food. It has been very unfortunate as I normally love their fish over rice, but I don’t see myself returning after this.

I love love love love their spicy chicken sandwich. It is one of the largest spicy chicken sandwiches on a large sesame seed bun, with goodies like veggies on it. It is freshly fried and I am always satisfied with their sandwich. expect an 8 min wait for the freshest spicy chicken sandwich. I also like their #10 platter. Their food is FRESH which is not common for these types of places, and their prices are decent.I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, the Cheese Fries, and the Fried Whiting.The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The Whiting was fried perfectly so fish was still delicate and juicy.The only thing I can complain about was that the chicken in the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was over cooked, it was dry.The good part about the chicken sandwich is that they used real pieces of chicken instead...read full review
