Han Dynasty Long Island City

My wife and I have tried a few Asian restaurants in the area and Han Dynasty is by far our favorite. The service has room for improvement, but the food quality does more than compensate. We specifically love the dry wings, chili wontons, chili cold noodles and any duck dish. Sensational flavor in every bite. We are sure to be back

Close to subway. Large portions. Friendly staff. Beef was grisly and tough. Make sure to order food spicy or it might just come under flavored and oily. The scallion pancake was not greasy but it was dry. The beef dry pot medium was actually bland but had nice veggies. The garlic sauce is actually quite sweet.

I am writing regarding the catering services and my recent attempts to place an order.

I initially called and spoke with your catering services manager, Yun, who was helpful in answering my questions and asked that I follow up by email to proceed. I sent an email with my questions but did not receive a response after five days. Assuming it may have been overlooked, I followed up again. After six additional days without a reply, I called and spoke with Yun once more. She acknowledged that she had somehow missed my previous email and after discussing logistics further, she assured me she would respond later that day.

As of today, I still have not received any follow-up.

It is very disappointing to be left waiting without communication only to be ignored, especially after multiple attempts to move forward. Please do better.

Han Dynasty in LIC is a bit of a mixed bag. Its price is rather affordable, and its environment is spacious and gigantic. While the interior design is actually alright, the table and chair choice is not that high-end or well-maintained; the whole place feels a bit bachelor with college vibes. Food-wise, the portion is quite generous, but the quality is below the bar. Some dishes felt re-heated and pre-made, and the texture of the pork and chicken was a bit odd. I would definitely recommend improvement on all fronts; otherwise, I’m not sure about its longevity.

I ordered the chicken shown in the photo.
The quality of the chicken was very poor. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was almost all batter with hardly any meat.
I won’t be coming back.

This place was amazing.The service here was amazing and Matthew our server was incredible. We had one of our party with severe food allergies and Matthew was extremely attentive and very nice, making sure that everything was okay, checking with the kitchen and other employees and making sure that we had an incredible, stress free experience. 11/10 will come again and definitely would recommend.

Han Dynasty never disappoints. The food is consistently amazing, which is why I keep coming back again and again. What really stood out this time, though, was the service. Even though it was December 30 and very busy, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and attentive. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of the entire time. What really stood out this time, though, was the service.
