I asked a genie if I could have a heart of gold, but little did I know, blood interfaces poorly with the circulatory system. Now I'm in desperate need of a new heart, and was wondering if I could steal yours. KACHOW 😎 (what a pick up line right? If I hear you using it I'll knock your lights out. that's my IP I don't know you)
Nice spot, mixed drinks were just okay. Fair pricing, and quick service. Good beer selection.

I paid for a beer in cash for happy hour, I was told “it’s $8 with taxes” and given back $2 in change, but I could see right in front of me on the computer and the card reader that it was $7.62 and my change was $2.38. I felt embarrassed to ask for my 38 cents, I just thought it was odd to assume I don’t want my full change back, so I can decide how much of my change I’d like to give back. I thought it was odd to do this in front of my face, as I had ordered at the bar and saw everything transpire on the computer screen and card reader screen.

Super cute little local bar that serves local wine and beer. Was in there neighbourhood with my mom for an event that was canceled, so we went for a drink at this place to kill time before our dinner reservation. Bartender was very warm and inviting and the house red and white wines were very enjoyable. We also got a pretzel that was super satisfying. A great local neighbourhood bar that I'd be a frequent patron of if I lived in the area.

You know you have a great experience when you write a review right after leaving! I had an amazing time at Heart of Gold tonight watching a movie in their backyard (shoutout @astoriahorrorclub!).
All the staff is amazing, and the prices were great too but I have to say, Sam is an incredible employee who definitely has a Heart of Gold! He was so attentive and kind and truly made the night great. We will definitely be back to see your phenomenal staff in your beautiful venue!
