Food was overall good, it hits every time. Did not give 5 stars because the order was wrong. Ordered 3 chicken tacos and got 3 carnitas tacos instead. We didn’t make a big deal because we were all hungry but they need to be more vigilant when making orders. Other than that everything was great. Very authentic

Very disappointed with the lack of consistency across this chain. I loved their Morningside Heights location, and the Great Neck spot is decent—but this location really missed the mark.
I ordered a torta, some tacos, and an agua fresca. At around $40, I was expecting much better, especially when you can get better street tacos nearby for less.
To be fair, the service was solid. The girl at the counter was polite and attentive, and there’s plenty of indoor seating. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver.
The torta was drenched in sauce, and the bread was completely soggy by the time I took my first bite. It was stuffed with large, uncut wedges of tomato and onion—it felt thrown together and lazy. The tacos were just okay—nothing memorable. The agua fresca was the highlight, with just the right amount of sweetness.
