Really cute place, but the coffee isn’t anything special—it’s pretty bland and feels like it’s made with low-quality beans. I was hoping for more

Unwelcoming. Rude snobs. More gentrifiers who helped to price out local minority families but think they’re so woke. Sorry, that ain’t woke. Yet they have a LOT to say in their establishment about the Middle East. So much propaganda all over the walls. Stick with making coffee.

Killer local coffee spot with full espresso offerings and snacks. Really nailing the retail too, especially the record wall. Strictly hot fire sounds.

I wanted to like this spot but sadly it's a one and done for me. It's a cute shop but it's filled with a thick air of snobbish behavior from the moment one walks in. The coffee is okay, but I've had better elsewhere in the neighborhood. I'll save my $6. Thanks.

Atmosphere is cool, not many tables to work at but I like the vibe. I drink matcha and the matcha used is more of the cooking quality its darker green, not so good for lattes. Please upgrade your matcha! Bright green for drinks please!

I once came in for a weekend event where someone was selling cake. Beautiful cakes at that. The event was listed with a starting time of 11 or 12 so I made sure to get there on time for a slice. It seems I was too early and the woman selling the cake almost seemed to not want to sell me a slice at all. In fact I was asked to wait but then her and the owner changed their minds and said it was actually okay to sell me a slice which was odd, i just came by for what was advertised. The coffee is mid at best.

The latte was really good and rich! The book selection is interesting and there is always something you’ve never seen before. The pastries are delicious, I tried the rosemary biscuit today and it was so good! They will warm it up for you. They also have cute postcards and shirt with a design of the store for sale.

Good coffee but everyone from the baristas to the customers taking up all the available seating with their laptops act inconvenienced by your presence. UPDATE: came in on a quiet Sunday and the two baristas on staff gave me what u would perceive as dirty looks and didn’t say a word to me the entire time I ordered. I’m not this kind of person but come on, do better.

The combo of an expensive, mediocre coffee shop with a bookstore full of books only annoying grad-school students want to read is so comical it's almost a Portlandia sketch.

Always wanted to check this place out after passing a bunch. Finally did and the barista’s attitude was mad sour, so off-putting. Cold brew is good though. Not feeling encouraged to come back after the cold interaction tho

I want in there for some expresso coffee and had no problem going in getting my coffee. The service was great, very pleasant. People very humble and I'll recommend anybody to just go there and get something to eat or something to drink. Good atmosphere, good neighborhood.
