This place is a bit of a walk from the main hub of Flushing, but it was definitely worth the trek. Came here for a weeknight dinner. We ordered two entrees and an app to share. The app we ordered was the pumpkin mochi cakes, and they were hot and delicious - we were so excited to try them that we forgot to take photos! The entrees were also very flavorful, especially the sliced cured pork with dried string beans and dried radish. I was afraid that a dish with those ingredients would be too salty, but they were able to balance the flavors just right. Would absolutely order that dish again. Service was quick and friendly, and you definitely get value for money at this resto. Would recommend if you are looking for delicious Hunan food while getting away from the usual crowded spots in central Flushing.

Love this spot!! They have really good over rice specials that gives you a lot of good and under $10. That’s extremely rare. If I am sick of Kabul kabab next door I like to come here.

Delicious Sichuan food at a great price. We order from here frequently at work and I always look forward to it. They have awesome lunch specials (less than $10!) and generally very quick with preparation and delivery. I'm a fan of everything I've tried here so far. That includes the mapo tofu with minced pork, spicy diced chicken, shredded beef with spicy green peppers, and the Mao's style braised pork. Yum. I'm getting hungry as I'm writing this review...

Food: pretty mediocre, nothing special. I've gotten their lunch special a few times. It tastes more like one of those fast food, pick 4 side dishes type of places. Cleanliness: not very clean. The tables were covered with layers and layers of disposable plastic tablecloths. I assume they can remove a layer every time a table is done dining. Nope, the just wiped it. I got seated and there was rice and sticky dripping on the table cloth still. Service: the waitstaff is nice. I was a little annoyed that they wouldn't let me pay with card because had to be over $20, even though with tip it would've been well over $20. But then when I paid with cash they didn't even give me the correct change.

This is an updated review. We have not been here for a long time. One Saturday we decided to get lunch here. The food were still great. Service was great too. Our waitress were very attentive and polite. The place were not busy when we were there. Food came out pretty quickly. We'll go back again for sure.

Even though I don’t like spicy food, I still like the taste of this restaurant. The bullfrog with pickled pepper and fish head with chopped pepper are my favorites. The portions are large and the price-performance ratio is very good!
