Just ordered delivery today. Ordered a $20 Galbi Tang soup. Arrived with no kimchi or banchan. AND soup was greasy without deep beef broth flavor. Mostly tasted watered down. For $20 I would at least expect some banchan or even just a tiny container of kinchi. If you are expecting sides that you get with every other restaurant when you order Galbi Tang, do not expect it from here.

I've ordered twice from here before. The first time I ordered the soft dumpling + tofu stew, which was pretty good and hit the spot. The next time I ordered the chicken rice bowl... which wasn't as good to me. It's very heavy. I only ate half the bowl. It was a bit too much sauce and a lot of pepper. I wish the sauce came on the side. The chicken itself was good (if it didn't have as much pepper). There were very few fries, and the fries that were found in the dish were very soggy at that point because of the sauce. The mandus are fried, so given the appetizer and main dish I felt so heavy as one does when eating fast food. If I were to rate based on the tofu stew, I would rate it 4/5, but just know what to expect when ordering here that it's very much fast food quality.

I placed an order on Uber Eats for BOGO Goku chicken Dubbap and was only sent 1 order. This was after already waiting 45 minutes for the delivery. I called the restaurant and explained the situation. At which point the bozo on the phone said she personally packed two bowls. I explained to her that I had one and would send a Pic to prove it and to please send my other half of the order. She said no and that it was possible the delivery person took the other order, even though the bag was stapled. I told her that would mean the delivery would need to drive around with a stapler, which she said, he probably does. She basically called me a liar and refused to correct the order. Worst customer service ever.... I hope they fire her for insinuating I was lying and provided shitty service. Whoever she is, she's a disgrace.

I've been a regular at HUNNY since they newly opened, but I never got around to leaving a review because I felt a bit lazy. However, I want to give a big shout-out and show some love to my favorite kitchen, who has consistently nailed my orders every single time.The spicy beef bone soup is my go-to comfort food, and I order it for dinner pretty much every day, so I can tell the difference between the earlier soup I had and what they serve now. I feel like they've increased the amount of galbi (beef), but the price is the same?! My other comfort foods are spicy soft tofu stew and their new fried dumplings (have them with Hulk sauce!)Besides the food, it's clear how much thought they put into each order. They remember me and include personal notes, which is such a kind and welcoming gesture. It was so sweet the last time I received it, I should have taken a pic of it.Anyway, all the staff look happy on their Instagram. Love that positive vibe behind the scenes. Happy staff creates great work!

I loved it. I ordered a soft tofu stew, asked for extra spicy and I got just that. The best part is that they offer it with actual pork belly (not common), and with extra spice it's thick with pepper flakes - just like the way... well, the way I like to make it when I'm not too lazy to do it myself.

It's modern Korean-American fusion restaurant run by young folks who are passionate about their cooking.I've ordered OG Galbi Tang, Hulk Kalbi Dubbap and Black Adam Dubbap to see what the deal is about.First of all, food names are quite creative. I'll give you that. It's easy for people to remember what to get.However, the taste of Hulk Kalbi Dubbap was just spicy. That's all. There's no actual taste within the sauce. And to actually get that flavor is from the french fries, which I felt that I was cheated because the kalbi had no seasoning or flavor to the beef.Black Adam dubbap was slightly better but it still was just fries and sauce without meats having a single seasoning. I dont know. Maybe the chefs didn't season their meats when they cooked for my food, but it was definitely bland.However, OG Kalbi Tang was definitely on point. The brew flavor was there, it was well cooked for a long time since radish was soft and the meats were tender enough to separate it from the bone easily. The only disappointing part was the noodles because they weren't soft, but still hard and raw.The food potentials are there. But I honestly should give these guys 3 but 4 is because I want to give them another try.
Great spot for late night bites. Great packaging. Food taste amazing as well. We ordered the OG Jeyuk Dubbab and Hulk Galbi Dubbab. The Jeyuk was amazing BUT the Kalbi was old. Not sure if it was oversight but the Kalbi meat tasted very old and ruined. Had to throw it away because I didn’t want to take a chance on old meat. Overall. Great spot.

Terrible food, worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Their tofu stew and jeyuk dupbap were the absolutely terrible. Tofu stew barely had any tofu - it was mostly just grease from the pork.

This was possibly the best catering experience I’ve ever had after years of ordering catering for photo productions. The service was incredible and the food was equally delicious. The level of care and quality was surprising, because it was excellent. We had enough food for 12 people (as ordered), with plenty of leftovers. I’d give an extra star if I could— I never leave reviews and had to leave one because it’s clear this is a very special place. The stickers on our takeout were sooo cute, such a nice personal touch. Will definitely be ordering again!
