let's start with the table and both chairs were dirty. The milk shake was thin and taste like just sugar milk. The cinna stack was PITIFUL. Just did not look appetizing. Presentation horrid. Then where's the syrup options? They give you two old fashion bottles and nothing else. They should be automatically offering hot syrup but instead when you ask for it you get an open cup that i guess they microwave? I'm going to stick to the far Rockaway /five towns location. I won't be back.
Server was nice so kudos to get but outside of that - horrible experience. Are they training ANYONE?
I used to be a restaurant server so i know how it is but we had to be on point. Idk who's managing this location but they need to step it up bc idk how long the IHOP brand/name will help them stay open. Good luck!

I really did try and support this place, but I can’t anymore. I’ve always patron the one in Rockaway five town, but I said this one’s a little closer and let me Support this one, but I just can’t. These people are the slowest I mean damn near molasses. So I’m back to my old spot where I’ve been going there for almost 15 years.

A terrible food pickup experience. I stopped my car next to ihop store for 20 seconds to pick up my food they immediately towed my car and made me pay a $250 fine. How desperate for money must the landlord of this parking lot be?

Shell “ShellyL” Jacks

The staff is limited so you have to wait 30 minutes after seating to put in your order. The cook was so overwhelmed with the seated orders along with food app pickup. Service was not available for any new customers by 2pm. This location may need to be looked into by corporate.

Jazzy was absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome with her friendly smile and positive attitude. She was super attentive, always checking in at the right times, and made sure everything about my visit was perfect. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. My food came out hot and perfectly prepared, and Jazzy made sure my lemonade was always full. I never had to ask for a refill once! She kept everything running smoothly and made the whole dining experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, personality, and efficiency the way she did. IHOP is truly lucky to have her on their team, and I really hope her manager knows what an incredible employee she is. She turned a simple meal into such a positive, memorable experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back!!

It’s so sad when we finally get restaurants in urban neighborhoods and it lives up to the terrible stereotypical expectations. The service at this establishment was TERRIBLE in fact HORRID would be a better word. The first time was about a month into opening, my sister and I went roughly 10:30am not many people, we were seated and after 20 minutes passed without any acknowledgment (keep in mind 2 tables seated after us has put in their orders) we left. The second and final time was today, I went with both of my siblings we were seated and placed our orders. 3 tables (biggest table had about 6 people) seated AFTER us all received food and the server was very attentive to their needs. About an hour of waiting (I had to bring it to my server’s attention that we still hadn’t gotten our food) finally our food was served ofc not correctly either but whatever at the time food was served I asked for refills for the table. .. ANOTHER 20 minutes and the drinks were finally brought by then the food was finished and we were ready to go. Asked for a to-go box I had to physically walk to the front (I have a boot on my foot) to the young ladies conversing to get a bigger box being that my waiter again was MIA. I value service and this by far was ridiculous, I’ll never dine here again.

Straight off a long flight and craving some comfort food, I headed to IHOP. I decided to try their seasonal pumpkin spice pancakes and was not disappointed. They were absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced—richly flavored without being overly sweet. It was a superb experience all around, elevated by our fantastic waiter who managed everything flawlessly, from taking our order to serving and cashing us out. You really can't go wrong with a meal from IHOP.
